now museum, now you don’t || @twelvexiisms cont. from here
“And how much of that space museum did I get to see?” Rose laughed back. “None! We had about two seconds in the gallery, and then it was all guns and Daleks!” And flirting. A fair amount of flirting, to be fair, but that had gone about as well as asking a cyberman to babysit. “I wanna see alien artifacts! And PAINTINGS! And you can show off about all the things they’ve got wrong on the little plaques… They’ll have a little shop… c’mon, you LOVE a little shop~”

"Oh my GOD!"
Pain forgotten -- well, MOSTLY forgotten, all the important Keeping Her From Him bits anyway -- Rose scrambled up to her feet. An instant later she was on him, flinging her arms around his frame -- too skinny, when had he gotten so paper thin? -- and burying her face in his chest.
"It's you!" she breathed, hardly daring to look at him in case she was wrong, but pulling back to stare up into those gorgeous, enigmatic eyes she had missed so badly. And oh, all it took was one look, and there was that broad, tongue-between-teeth grin of hers, her warm brown eyes full of light and laughter. "Hello you..."
Automatically, her hand went up to brush lightly against his face. He looked... older, somehow. Not quite the boyish face she remembered from when he'd first regenerated, but still him. Still her Doctor. He was all... stubbly, and his eyes were tired, but-
"You're really here... Oh my god, it's you, and you're here! ... I found you..."
She heard footsteps hurrying down the hall, and the sound of a door opening. Move. She had to move. Come on Rose.
"D-don't-" she croaked, wincing with the pain, before she gulped in a massive breath, and managed to roll herself onto her side. She'd landed square on top of the dimensional canon, and she barely had the wherewithal to push it off to the side, sliding it across the floor so that it was partially hidden beneath the shadows of a nearby desk. "I-it's a dimensional canon, not a weapon! I'm not armed!"
Rose got up onto her knees, one hand held up as if to say -- see? Look! Nothing there! Please don't fill me full of bullets or lasers or whatever it is you've got for security in this dimension! -- while the other shoved the mess of bleached blonde hair away from her eyes.
"Oh... BLIMEY, got that landing wrong, didn't I! Sorry! Look, DON'T shoot or anything! I'm a friend! My name's Rose Tyler. I come in-" And then she froze. Because the silhouette approaching her was a familiar one. Impossibly familiar. He was backlit, and thinner than even she remembered him but the gait, the suit, the hair... she remembered it... remembered it all...
"... Doctor?"

DOCTOR WHO: TIME OF THE DOCTOR sentence meme. feel free to change context/pronouns/etc as necessary.
Emergency! You’re my boyfriend.
Ding dong! Okay, brilliant.
No, no, you’re not actually my boyfriend.
So, I may have accidentally invented a boyfriend.
I just need you to come for dinner. Just do that for me. Come to dinner and be my date.
I emailed you some instructions.
No, stop, stop, don’t move. Don’t do anything.
And please, just learn how to use iPlayer.
So why haven’t you just gone down there and had a look?
Anything you have to say to me, you can say in front of her.
Actually, would you mind waiting out here, please?
Remember. I want you back in one hour.
You got bored one night, didn’t you?
My eyebrows are just delicate.
That wasn’t quite what I was meant to say!
Maybe it’s just nice here. I almost hate to find out what’s wrong.
There you are. What took you so long?
I knew. I always knew it wasn’t over.
Okay, is that it? Are you doing a clever thing?
No. Don’t you dare. No, no!
Don’t you move one step further.
Don’t be cool. Cool is not cool!
Does this mean you’re leaving?
You tricked me!
I saved you!
You didn’t even say goodbye!
Hey, after all these years, I’ve finally found somewhere that needs me to stick around.
You can do it. You’ve got it in you. Come on, just hang on in there.
Why did you send me away?
If I hadn’t sent you away, I’d have buried you a long time ago.
Have you been paying attention?
I had vanity issues at the time.
Change the future.
Every life I save is a victory. Every single one.
What about your life? Just for once, after all this time, have you not earned the right to think about that?
We shouldn’t be having an argument.
Everything ends. And sooner than you think.
I’m not interested in changing history. I want to change the future.
Why didn’t you call me? I could have helped.
Well, you’d better kill me, then. Go on.
Give me those big, sad eyes. Look at me so I know you’re not lying.
Tell me you will never send me away ever again.
I will never send you away again.
I might leave tomorrow. Or the next day. Or the day after that.
Other fish in the sea, that’s what I’m saying.
I’ve got a suggestion, that’s all. I’ve got a list of suggestions.
I’d seen him before, lots of times, but he just looked so beautiful standing there.
I wanted everything to stop. I wanted nothing to change ever again.
He shouldn’t die alone. Go to him.
Were you always so young?
No. You’re going to stay here. Promise me you will.
I’ll be keeping you safe. One last victory. Allow me that.
Thank you. And goodbye.
If you love him — and you should — help him. Help him.
It’s started. I can’t stop it now.
It all just disappears, doesn’t it? Everything you are, gone in a moment, like breath on a mirror.
Any moment now, he’s a-coming.
Times change and so must I.
We all change, when you think about it. We’re all different people all through our lives.
We all change, when you think about it. We’re all different people all through our lives. And that’s okay, that’s good; you’ve got to keep moving, so long as you remember all the people that you used to be.
I will not forget one line of this. Not one day. I swear.
Please don’t change.
We’re probably crashing.
Stay calm. Just one question. Do you happen to know how to fly this thing?

New guidelines page and verses are up and ready to go!
Aaaaaaand I IMMEDIATELY want to start splashing around in my Vortex Touched AU...
An AU in which Rose has been permanently altered by the energy of the Vortex. A spark of the energy The Bad Wolf used to pull herself through Time and Space, anchoring herself to The Doctor, fixed itself into Rose’s DNA. It started with the dreams – nighttime visions and waking daydreams of traveling to times and spaces she had never seen before, that left her exhausted and confused. It didn’t take long for Rose to realize she had actually been traveling, crossing through the Vortex to all those distant worlds. And she couldn’t help but to experiment… Time travel, beyond the TARDIS and The Doctor? It was just too tempting. Saving planets, helping people, making a name for herself straight across the universe: monsters beware, The Bad Wolf is near! But her control over the spark inside her is… tenuous. Her power is growing day by day, The Bad Wolf’s full beautiful and destructive capabilities raging within her, growing more and more desperate to be released. It is only a matter of time before Rose Tyler ceases to exist. Sooner or later, there will only be The Bad Wolf.

“I don’t need to be indestructible, I’m superb.“
[the woman who lived || accepting]
"Is that what you call this? Superb?"
Rose looked around at all the dead eyed souls, staring listlessly into the nothingness around them. She looked back at The Poet, hands clenching into fists.
"Think it's funny, do you? Wiping their minds, and leaving them... blank like this?" She glared at him, a mix of disgust and pity flashing across her face. "You're gonna wish you were indestructible soon as these people start to wake up, mate. Cause if I know one thing about humans, it's that we don't like being jerked around like puppets for other people's amusement!"
She fixed him with a scrutinizing stare, her warm brown eyes locked on his. "... what ARE you? Why are you DOING this?"
