NOCTURNE is a minimalist, multi-sale, and responsive skin for Jcink inspired by the book “The Vampire Chronicles” by Anne Rice. This skin was optimized for Google Chrome and Opera GX, and it comes with a responsive mobile mode which you can check the previews here.

I'm not sure if you're still taking suggestions for this gorgeous skin (you did your big one), but is there any chance it can come with the auto face claim?

Unfortunately, the skin is already packed and ready for launch 😭 That said, while I didn’t include the thread tracker script in the skin itself, I did style FizzyElf’s thread tracker—so if you add and configure it on your main profiles, it’ll match the design seamlessly!

I can definitely do the same for the auto face claim too! I’m thinking of releasing it separately as a freebie on Ko-fi, posting it on my Discord server, or just sharing it via DMs.

Since these scripts usually need to be configured on a case-by-case basis, I figured it’d be more practical to leave them out of the skin package to avoid any breakage when you install it on your site.

Here’s how I styled Fizzy’s thread tracker, and I can apply the same vibe to the auto face claim as well!

NOCTURNE - Mobile Mode

Oh this new skin is so 👀 Out of curiosity, is there going to be just like an admin/ooc specific profile without the character information? Was just curious if you had any intentions on how it would work for ooc accounts!

I don’t typically work with OOC accounts, but if your site uses them and you'd like them to look visually distinct from IC accounts, I can create a separate design using group variables. I'm happy to send the code over on Discord or post it separately, whatever works for you!

tenebrius! i love your codes so very dearly <3 every time i see previews i swear my eyes start sparkling - however, i NEED to know who the faces you use are in the previews 😭 is there ANY way we could get a note in the preview posts or just like a tag of which faces you're using in these previews? 🙏

The faces I'm using on Nocturne are: Noah Hanes (Theo / I also use him on my tumblr/discord), Conan Gray (Armand), Paul Boche (Lestat), Anok Yai (Akasha), Vassili Schneider (Daniel).

For Achilles I've used Iñaki Luluaga for Achilles and Marlon Pendlebury for Patroclus.

And on Cerberus I've used Taylor Zakhar-Perez, Tamino-Amir Moharam Fouad and Jorge López!

Already so excited with the previews for this new skin, Ten, it looks amazing! For the guidebook, are you thinking you may do something different? Could we potentially even see the option for like sub-sets within the menus, if we wanted sub-sections within our pages?

There will be templates for the main profile, specifically for the connections section where you can add other characters to the sheet, as well as some styling codes you can use across the freeform, shipper, and personality sections!

There’s also a section on the first tab of the main profile where you can link to development boards and tech forums, and that will include specific codes to use on said forums as well (like Tinder, Instagram, etc.)!

I’m hoping to finish all the templates this week and, fingers crossed, wrap everything up by Friday! 💕

Nocturne Update: I’ve decided to take a more minimalistic approach with the member list. There’s already a lot of information packed into other parts of the skin, and the member pop-up profiles are pretty detailed on their own—so keeping the list simple felt right. Just the guidebook and templates left to finish now! :D

Nocturne Update: I've finished styling a few smaller elements of the skin, including the guidebook forum. The board stats are nearly complete, and I’ve decided to increase the height of the main profile container—it was feeling a bit too narrow.

Once the board stats are wrapped up, all that’s left are the templates and the guidebook. Almost there! :)

I know you’re dealing with health stuff, and please take care of yourself first. I was just wondering if there was an updated eta on nocturne. My whole staff team is in love with it and are excited for its eventual release. Keep up the amazing work

It truly warms my heart to know that you and your wonderful staff team are so excited for this release. ❤️ I really hope it lives up to your expectations! I’m planning to share a live preview here and in my Discord server as soon as everything is finished.

My original goal was to complete this skin last month, but my chronic disability can be quite unpredictable. Depending on how it affects me, it can significantly slow down both my projects and other aspects of daily life. Because of that, I tend to avoid giving a solid ETA — it’s always hard to know whether something will take more or less time than anticipated.

That said, the skin is currently about 65% done! I just have a few more things to wrap up, along with finalizing the templates that will accompany it and ensuring everything is responsive on mobile and smaller screens. After that, I’ll start preparing the code for sale.

I don’t think this will take more than a month, even with my current limitations, but I’ll be sure to keep you updated! If you’d like to take a closer look at the progress, I’m regularly posting updates in my Discord server — which you can join here. ❤️

What's the name of the header font on the Achilles skin? It's so gorgeous!

The name of the font is Ghosthey by Alit Design. I believe there is free versions across the web for personal use, but you can check the creator's TOU/license on their website!

You can find a version of this font that’s free for personal use available across the web. However, I may need to switch out the accent font on this skin before making it available for sale, due to the creator’s terms of use regarding redistribution—even under a standard license.

That said, the accent font is easily changeable. So if you’re using this skin for a personal board and want to keep Rosie Brown, you should be able to use the free personal-use version without issue. Just be sure to double-check the licensing terms to stay within the allowed use.

Yes, I also plan to include extra sets of development, staff and profile codes for extra customization per request. I plan to make some extras for technology as well. 💗

It should be available within the next few weeks, possibly sooner.

I want to ensure everything functions properly across different screens and will be testing the full product with various clients to identify and implement any necessary adjustments before it's ready for purchase, but I'm expecting to release it this month!
