Okay, let's face it. This has turned into more than half Star Wars by now. Also occasionally knitting, spinning, and gardening pictures. She/her/bi/married so don't bother trying to get me on your dating app (it happens more than you'd think).

what i love so much about Mistborn and Kelsier in particular is that he is not a good guy. i don't agree with people's arguments about his 'villany' by a long shot, however i can acknowledge he is not a morally stereotypically good person. and that's why i love him. because let's be real, so much of the cosmere is good guys. to be a Knight's Radiant you whole schtik is that you want to help people and be good. vin and elend (although i love them) are so so focused on helping their people also. which is great, of course. but getting that breath of fresh air, the person with his own motivations and plans that are at times selfishly driven, and who isn't afraid to be the bad guy in other people's story, is amazing. i love Kel because he's so different from the Dalinars, Kaladins, Adolins and Vins of the cosmere. which is also why i love Hoid, Shai, Breeze, etc so much. and why i adore Kelsier so much.

Sharing space is nothing new. Sharing bathrooms is nothing new. The reactionary outrage is so manufactured.

There’s certain hobbies and interests that aren’t inherently conservative or regressive but do attract a lot of people who are those things or worse and when you’re a progressive person involved in those hobbies hearing that someone else is interested in your hobby usually has to involve some “But are you normal about it?” conversations before you get too excited

kinda wish I had taken a photo of these before, but I’ve been doing some visible mending on my clothes recently :) the fashionable distressing had turned into slightly less fashionable gaping holes lol
thought it would be fun to try and continue the tree print onto the pants themselves to make it look like they were growing out—I’m not terribly good at embroidery bc I don’t do it very often but I think it turned out well!! yay :) I left some of the frayed edges in bc I liked the look, and I’m pretty happy with that decision \o/
