I finally got to finishing my late work for @tes-gala. I wasn't sure what to do at first other than that I would use my Vestige Rijohe for this. So I ended up going with an Azura inspired outfit. I leaned heavily on in game depictions of Azura but wanted to do something fun with the colours of the outfit. I'm very happy with the results.

[Image ID: A Digital drawing of Lilith dressed in a red, leotard like dress featuring a diamond shaped cut out on her chest, off shoulder sleeves reminiscent of dragon wings, a floor length tail coat with a purple and yellow diamond fabric on the inside, red heels and a golden tiara. on her face is purple face paint and and scales on her thigh. /.End ID]

3/4 outfit designs for @tes-gala
Lilith is repping Akatosh here. I took some inspo from Sabrina Carpenters met gala fit this year with the leotard-esque style. Of course Akatosh being the dragon god so the sleeves are wing shaped and the diamond design on the inside of the train is a ref to the amulet of kings. I feel like this one really feels met gala style with fun shapes instead of being a reggo dress.

WELP I very much did not finish the fic I was writing for TES Gala. I do plan on posting it when it's finished, but in the meantime I can share the thing I did finish: A pattern for a tablet-woven Eye of Nocturnal belt!
I started getting interested in tablet weaving about a year ago after falling down a viking clothing rabbit hole, and this past christmas my very lovely older sibling got me some basic supplies and I've been noodling around with it for a while now! As previously noted, I am a strong believer that the Thieves' Guild symbol used in Skyrim is meant to represent the Eye of Nocturnal. My evidence:
It kinda looks like an eye.
The Skyrim guild has long running ties to Nocturnal.
That's it.
Since the theme of the gala was "Daedra and Divines," I thought I should make use of this compelling evidence (and weaponize my obsession with my guildmaster LDB Mailie) and do... something with that. And therein lies the connection: Tablet weaving is very good at symmetrical geometric designs, and the Guild shadowmark is just that.
(p.s. if you're super confused about wtf I'm talking about, check out Lady Elewys of Finchingefeld for info on tablet weaving. It's overall a pretty inexpensive craft and very fun. TL;DR, it's a form of weft-faced weaving that's been practiced pretty much globally, but is frequently associated strongly with the viking era.)
I decided that when Mailie attended The Gala™️, she would wear a belt woven with the Eye. While she has complicated feelings about her status as a Nightingale, her relationship with Nocturnal is one of mutual respect. Furthermore, the Guild is incredibly important to Mailie, and I think she would relish the opportunity to represent it, even in a rather subtle way.
This has already ended up longer than I intended, so I'm putting the info on the pattern itself under the cut.
The version of the pattern I'm focusing on here is probably not wide enough to make a belt, unless you used very thick thread or were okay with a very thin belt. I wove a couple inches with laceweight cotton crochet thread, and it's about 1.3 cm/0.5 in wide. You could easily add some extra stripes on the outside to make it thicker if desired.
You can find the pattern here on twisted threads, or I've included some images below.
Threading chart
Weaving design
Woven band
(side note: I learned a different notation for threading than what twisted threads uses and that caused some confusion when I went to weave, so be aware of that if you happen to try this out for yourself. this pattern should work if you actually do your set up the way the website tells you to and don't try to wing it like me.)
The end design is not a perfect representation of the shape I'm going for, but I think to get a more elongated design you need to either have a pattern way beyond my ability to design or use 6-holed tablets. Regardless, I'm not doing that. While not perfect, I think this gets the idea across.
If you've made it this far, thanks for reading! I'm going to put up another version of this post on my main which includes the more complex version I made of this design, which I will link here when posted. Enjoy a picture of my attempt at this as your reward for reading my long ass post. Mistakes were made.

[Image ID: A Digital drawing of Caliendor dressed in a white and dark blue flowing, floor length skirt with small purple tassels along the edges and gold swirls. He has a long thin golden chain going down his body that wraps around his waist that is attached to a golden choker with a purple gem in the middle with matching white puffed up, off the shoulder sleeves. He wears white Lillies on his hair with additional smaller flowers in various colours such as blue, white, pink and purple. /.End ID]
man this is so rushed but! my contribution to the @tes-gala with my boy Caliendor! I REALLY loved the "Dibella's Exaltation" outfit in ESO and since Dibella and Mara are the only main Divines he worships, i figured it was the most fitting to base his outfit on!
i had a ton of different ideas also, as well as including Signe and Faenlir but I just didnt have the time or energy 😩 well, heres to next year! (or sooner, if the gala ends up being twice a year!)
[the Dibella's Exaltation outfit under the cut for reference]

Will this be an annual event?
Yes, we're hoping so! We're also considering the idea of a smaller event for Halloween/Witches Festival cause we think that would be really cool/cute!

[IMAGE ID: full-body digital art of five women standing together side by side. Starting from the left, is a tall woman named Gianna. She has short blond hair and wears golden horns. Her dress is black and gold with slits on each side showing off her legs, a deep V cut neckline, and at the shoulders look like gold wings. She wears boots and bracers in the same style as the dress, as well as a black choker necklace.
The second is Sirene, with long blonde hair. She wears a purple and pink dress that resembles flower petals. It opens at the bottom to show her legs below the knee. She wears pink high heel shoes and holds a white clutch purse in front of herself.
The third is Stöllyn, with brown hair in dreadlocks and runic tattoos. Her dress is light grey, browns, and dark grey, and made of feathers. She wears gold-ish high heel boots and a black choker necklace.
The forth is Feowyn, with long white hair and horns. Her dress is green and ends in black at the bottom hem, with an occasional pattern of red capillaries running down the dress. The deep V-cut neckline is lined to look like bloody teeth. Falling down from her shoulders and past her arms is greenish fur with a cheetah-like pattern. She wears brown lace-up flat sandals.
The last is Sansuna, with short curly black hair. Her dress is black and light purple. A diamond shape cut out is at the abdomen, where that spot plus her shoulders are covered in spider webs. She holds a small, circular purse that's decorated with a black widow spider. END ID]

TES Gala - Loredas
Event organized by @tes-gala and hosted by the honorable House Nivulirel.
Article written by Yivohn Malril.
Today's highlight(s):
Guest(s) presenting:

I used to think some things were never meant to be seen. If only I knew how limited I was. Freed from the confinements of constant reification, I have found Everything. I have seen the Unseen and found it Existing.
Being Outside and Within, I could see the pitiful endeavor we call Knowledge compared to what Is. The futility of Effort compared to Fact. Matter infinitely falling apart, giving way without end. I would have despaired, had I still found meaning in Despair.
Then something Changed; a mere drop in the ocean falling to its Absolvation. And yet, as the Thought made contact with my mind, I could focus on nothing else.
I promised my friend I would braid his hair after we ate.
How was this any different from the rest of existence, from the endless number of theoretically equal Possibilities? Was there some Inherent Value to things after all? Was this important because it mattered to Another? I couldn't find the answer to that, but I knew I liked braiding his hair. And that was a statement.
From that, I slowly found my way back. I decided I would not shed a single tear until my wounds were cleaned and bandaged. After that, it was time for supper. After that, my friend and I shared all the gossip the other didn't hear that day. After that, I was just too sleepy to think about anything other than how soft the pillows were and how nice the evening air felt.
It is now Loredas afternoon and today was a break day for me. None of the guests seem to remember anything strange... anything stranger than greater society, at least. I have not made a decision about my drafts yet. Seeing as some of my muses were not from Here, I might get discredited if I bring their stories to the printer.
Perhaps it is for the best, as I have no idea to whom I should dedicate this closing day. The strange possession I have experienced? Those I have spoken to about Lord Sheogorath describe a much more within-the-body experience... and I have no better guesses. And that could make sense; until recently, I barely knew about gods like Baan Dar, so I cannot put it past myself that I have simply never heard of this one. Whatever Your name is, You gave me a taste of something I could never even fathom otherwise. An existence without purpose, without pleasure and pain, without wonder? Without magic? Whatever cosmic balance You keep, I am grateful I do not have to be in Your place. I would never pray to You, but I can offer to keep You in my prayers. I probably does not matter to you, but it matters to me.

TES Gala - Fredas
Event organized by @tes-gala and hosted by the honorable House Nivulirel.
Article written by Yivohn Malril.
Today's highlight: Baan Dar
Guest presenting:
Vaba-daro, Listener to the Night Mother Ma'tazi Kumatenurr

A trickster spirit, a dancer in the shadows, protector of the cornered; Baan Dar looks out for all Bosmer and especially Khajiit finding themselves in a desperate situation. This lesser-known deity has a flourishing culture in
I don't think I can do this. None of what I gathered can be published, I see that now. But just in case I am not Sheogorath-kissed, I want a record of this. Screw the paper. I don't care. I don't care!
Okay, so this Khajiit is clearly Vaba-daro, right? Except she had no memories of the Dark Brotherhood (they could be the real deal for all I know) and looked at me funny when I said her name. I checked the guest list. I always do. Ma'tazi? She said it meant 'annoying child'. Not helping.
And then there is this woman. Not even dressed up.

She could be the daughter of Lady Ithruen by the looks of her, but Ithruen only has two adopted children. Then there is the name. She was listed as "Supervisor Semir'Visca Ithruen". Exact same base name as her; the Last Dragonborn, famously anti-Thalmor. Well, this one isn't.
I picked up the shards of my mirror. They are in a box now. Tally says I should get rid of it, give it to the staff. I tried, but something holds me back. They are such tiny shards.

A second entry for @tes-gala is Cruiva! She come dressed in an Azura inspired halter top gown. The base of the gown is navy blue with chiffon tulle cascading from waist down in a yellow-purple ombre meant to symbolize the colors of dawn and dusk. And of course not to be seen without her staff of clairvoyance.
I was originally going to draw her leaning on her wife Aela but quickly realized I did not want to put in the effort lol. So she's reaching awkwardly at the table instead.

Asa Lim, Nerevarine and Azura devout. She found Azura's guidance as a stranger in a hostile, strange land. As an Argonian, it was an uphill battle to get the Dunmer to acknowledge her as Nerevarine, so she bears the title and Azura's favor with pride.
[Hauled ass to not to miss the @tes-gala. Hopefully made it in time!]
