(like the type of character who says "ダーリン♡" or "ハニー♡"  unironically lmfao) If that's too specific: you know those couples that are so ridiculously sappy/in love, they make everyone else want to throw up whenever they talk to each other in public? I want this in a LI lmaoo. Thanks!!!

ALFKLSHS this is so funny. HISAYUKI would my first recc because literally he EMBARRASSED THE MC HERSELF by how sappy he is.

i don’t think pet names are too often done though because in Japanese, social proximity/intimacy is typically expressed by the use of honorifics or the lackthereof. these are coupled by the first name/surname calling, (hence the usual “call me by my first name instead of my surname” tropes) + in drama CDs, the MC are kept nameless. So, displays of affection through pet names are pretty rare (although now that you mentioned it, i will be looking out for this LOL) the common one would be oku-san (dear/wifey) used in some Danna-sama series or husband-type CDs?

i suppose this ‘love noobs’ ask would help, but here are some that I remember/found of LI who are super sweet:

kirinyan comes to mind! he does more spontaneous or less professionally-scripted type of CDs.

i feel like cookytan fits into this range of voice as well...?

also if you don't mind brand cds (since kirinyan is an indie VA), haru amano and nimaigai hokki might fit the range of voice too, although it's been a long while since i've listened to them so my memory might be wrong!
