“Yikes– let’s hope you’re not concussed then. I’m not sure if hospitals would appreciate a good ole’ dine and dash experience,” Liam replied with a chuckle, shaking his head while a crooked smile managed to work its way onto his lips, “Technically, I didn’t throw the ball. If you want the real culprit, you’ll have to interrogate that lot over there,” he nodded to the rowdy crew of football players across the courtyard, “and they’re not the easiest cooperators so it’s probably best you’re only dealing with me today.”

“Hospitals are a waste of money and time, anyway. I’d say take me to my dad, but he’s down south anyway. Too far away.” She mused and let out a light laugh. She looked over at the idiots across from them and raised both her eyebrows. “You see the one right there-” She said and pointed to one of the really taller ones. Dark and tan. ��He’s afraid of me. Which is funny because I’m just a 5'10 girl.” She admitted and laughed a little. “I’m okay with dealing with just for. Which means, you’re buying me lunch then, Liam.”

Liam chuckled quietly at her snide remark, crouching down to help her gather her scattered belongings after helping her to her feet, “I’ll consider luck to be in my favor today then,” he replied, standing once more and handing over the few things he’d managed to pick up. Shaking his head with a grin threatening to unfurl on his lips, he raised his hands innocently in a means of surrender, “Hey, I have no idea what you mean by that. I am a good guy,” he grinned, crossing his arms over his chest, “No regret here– except for the fact that you just got nailed in the head by a stray pass on my account. If you start to feel dizzy or nauseous, it might be a concussion– probably want to get that checked out.” 

She let a small smile rest on her lips as he answered back her remark. She took the things he picked up for her and just tossed them into her bag. Just a few papers about searches and all in the law-making world. She let out a small laugh and crossed her arms across her chest as she shook her head with the smile still on her face. "If I have a concussion- you're paying my medical bills I hope you know. I may be able to afford them on my own, but do the crime, pay the lady money now, handsome."

The mid-afternoon sun was brutal in New York and it was not uncommon for Liam to be found in the courtyard of campus, casually throwing a football around with some of his teammates– all of them sans t-shirts. It hadn’t taken him long to grow accustomed to the blatant gawking from the females and the side-eyed glares from the guys since their group generally drew a lot of attention. Five college athletes, all topping six foot, shirtless, and throwing a ball through the air in the middle of campus? Yeah, they weren’t exactly discreet. Their group had managed to avoid any collisions with people milling around campus– that was until the ball went soaring over his head, heading straight for the poor, unaware student standing beneath the large oak tree. “Hey, heads up!” he called out a second too late, watching with horror as the ball hit the back of their head the with an audible thunk before falling to the ground and rolling a few feet away. Quickly rushing over, Liam crouched down next to the person with a grimace etched onto his handsome features, “Are you okay?” he inquired genuinely, checking for any obvious signs of injury, “I’m pretty sure that ball had some sort of agenda with you today. It was headin’ straight for you from the moment it hit the air,” he chuckled, extending his hand to help the other to their feet, “Sorry for knocking you on your ass.”

Chloe was running late-once again. She always would arrive late to her last class and she never knew why. It wasn't like she wasn't always on campus anyway. Maybe it was because she hated the teacher, but knew she needed this credit. She was paying attention as she was digging into her back as she was walking and before she could react to the small little heads up, she was getting hit in the head with a football and was tumbling head first into the ground. Luckily, her hands reacted fast and her face didn't get hurt. She huffed and just laid there staring at the sky before she saw the boy. Liam. She huffed even louder as he asked if she was okay. "You're lucky I don't drag your ass down here with me." She said and lightly laughed to let him know she was joking. She took his hand and stood up on her feet as she kneeled down to pick up her bag and sat back up as she faced the other. "You're fine." She said and made a small face and looked at his shirtless torso. "You smell like sweat and regret, Liam."

“Oh its so good to see you again!” Alaska said, wrapping her arms around the nearest person, her heart racing within her chest.

“Please just pretend you know me,” she whispered in their ear, pretending to giggle as if they were gossiping. “That man hasn’t left me alone in five minutes.” She looked over her shoulder to see the man staring at them before she looked back to the person she had wrapped her arm around. “I was thinking lunch?”

Chloe jumped a little when she heard the girl and then made a small face. She glanced back at the guy staring at them and nodded. She was willing to help a girl out. "Lunch of course. Where do we want to go?"
