It’s the 3rd of April, and it’s both Brook and my birthday ! ♥ Though I must admit, it’s kinda weird for me to be turning 27 y.o. Time flies by so fast ! ☠️🎂✨🎉🎁

I’m glad we share the same birthday since I like him a lot. I love his calm energy, his kindness — though he may act weird sometimes, yohohoho — and his passion for music — that I actually share. And I have to add that he has some very cool moments as well. Remember his fight against Big Mom ? That’s what I’m talking about, Brook is awesome and so inspiring !

Sunny Go + Mini Merry papercraft

28th Feb. — My sister – who’s working as a bookseller – brought me this papercraft she received from a co-worker who knew I like “One Piece” a lot ♥ It was the first time I tried something like that and honestly, I struggled A LOT. But it was fun, and now I have an awesome Sunny Go (an a Mini Merry !) on my bookshelf and I love it. Also, the li'l characters are made by Oda himself and I find them very pretty 🥰

I’ve been organizing some stuff and realized I’ve never posted this one 🤷🏻‍ A reproduction of a scene I love a lot (angry Sanji is the best Sanji ♥)

Honestly, it's way too close to the original/Oda's art style, I can't wait to find my own. But I guess it's OK to train a li'l bit ? I hope making some reproductions will lead me somewhere one day — help me learn how to draw better & grow as an artist !

Showing some love for those two — Just noticed I don't have enough drawings of Law (and it's weird 'cause it's my favorite One Piece character...). Gotta change that ! ♥ Also, drawing Corazon being his clumsy self makes me feel good about myself! Like, I'm gauche as hell, but at least I've never set myself on fire ! Well... Did you know there is currently an event to celebrate the upcoming release of One Piece 1,000th episode, on the 21st November ? Well, now you do ♥

Toei Animation is organizing a big challenge : break the record for the greatest digital photo album of all time. It means, collecting 20,000 (or more) wanted notices (the link to the website is below if you want, you’ll be able to make your own poster there). Oh and there’s is a draw as well — every 1,000 selfies, someone is randomly selected and win some gifts. That’s cool, isn’t it ?

As you can see, I’ve participated ! I wasn’t sure I was gonna post it on Tumblr — ‘cause I’m actually quite insecure about myself — but I really wanted to speak a little about this event. You know, ever since I’ve begun watching One Piece as a child, I wanted my own One Piece poster. That’s a bit stupid, I mean I could have make one for myself, but with this one, it kinda feels “official” somehow ? Anyway, my inner child is happy, haha! 🥰

What’s quite funny with my wanted notice is that, by chance, it suits my devil fruit quite well. One of my friends and I had a talk before about what would be our devil fruit if we could have one, and what power would it be. Mine was the Hōru-Hōru no Mi and it gives me the ability to create wormholes/black holes (to put it simply, though we got quite specific about the strenghts and weeknesses of our respective fruits 😂). He rightfully made me notice that, with this picture, it seems like I’m emerging from one of the wormholes I can materialize. My picture choice feels now kinda accurate, haha.

Now I really do feel like a real pirate~! 🏴☠️🦜

I wouldn’t have thought of celebrating Law’s birthday if it wasn’t for  @sashi-ya​ ​ #LawBirthdayWeek2021 ! Thank you for the wonderful idea! ♥

While thinking of what I could do to mark the occasion, I remembered this scene between Law, Bepo and the Pirates Hearts crew, during the Zou arc. And I kinda think it was very fitted as a birthday gift. Here’s why.

Law loves his crew, of course —  and among the crew members, Bepo is the one holding a very special place in Law’s heart.

Grumpy Law is smiling... ♥

Well, he’s smiling AND he’s letting Bepo ponce on him, hug him (garchu ♥) without showing any sign of annoyance. He’s just standing still, carrying Bepo who’s crying in his arms. Such a man~!

This scene is pure magic, and one of my favorite Law moment. He seems so genuinely happy!

“I missed you!”,  “All the members of the Heart Pirates are here!” — Are there more fitting words ? It feels like Bepo is throwing his captain a surprise party!

For all those reasons, I was sure it was this scene I wanted to depict and no other! I actually used screenshots from the anime as references to draw these two frames. Hopefully that will bring back some memories to you as well, hehe ✨

Once again, thank you  @sashi-ya​ for creating this event, it inspired me a lot! Funny thing is that we’ve been debating with one of my best friend about who loves Law the best for the last few weeks (yeah, you’re right, we’re just kids hehe). And when I showed him this drawing, he immediately used it as a profile picture. I guess I made someone happy ? 😂

After some months, I’m finally getting back to watching "One Piece" and GOD. I’m so not ready! 🤯 I’ve just met Mama and damn ! She’s giving me some real granny Yubaba vibes (you know, the grandma in "Spirited Away"). I’m so hyped by the Whole Cake Arc, I’ll just be crying my eyes out for Sanji, for sure!
