technically a rehaul design, bc i was unhappy w my old one for like 2 years and so uhh. yeah :) also heres my inspo collage because i think its neat to share my brain workings

the skirt cover is made to easily be removed in case better movement under water is necessary. smthn that always bothered me w og abyssian designs (other than their lack of tails :'0) was their attire not being hydrodynamic. so i fused the flowy pretty aesthetics with utility :)

idk if anyone else remembers the Toll of the Deep abyssian fish ppl summer event where we got summer mym n alex bc boy howdy was it a bit of a shitshow but I DEFINITELY DO and i lost it over the abyssians so badly cause aquatic humanoids are a huge brainrot for me lol

i was rly sad when we didnt get cool “transformed into abyssians to blend in amongst them” alts (as much as im happy mym and alex got super cute summer alts) and got compelled to draw my own self indulgent abyssian thaniel so thats what this is yeehaw
