Another embroidered patch I had a lot of fun with! I hadn't drawn a dog I was happy with before making this patch, but by jove after I was done sketching I could draw a doberman at a three-quarters angle. I got to sew it to my girlfriend's jacket too :)

I hate job hunting because every time I open a description for a job the first five paragraphs are always meaningless “Scrimblo Industries is committed to synthesizing a dynamic approach to diversity and learning from–” drivel, and then at the bottom they tell you they will pay you in grass clippings and you STILL don’t know what the job is about

Not to be controversial B U T. I think 3rd/2nd shift public buses should be a thing. If you work the graveyard or a 2nd shift with weird hours you deserve to be able to get home regardless if you have a car or not.

I also think that there needs to be (a) bus line(s) to and from the cities to the rural areas. Yes this also means “rural” as in those ‘southern gothic aesthetic’ rural areas.

People should not have to be locked in the cities or in rural areas, they should have the freedom to be able to move around. If you’re low income, older, disabled, or can’t afford a car (bc it’s car + insurance + gas $$) then you’re kind of stuck where you’re at and this is coming from real life experience.

I miss when things weren’t expensive. Deadass cried about it a lil last night. I can’t believe I really missed out on the brief time period where it was possible to live comfortably off a part time and have a house at 19/20. Wack if you ask me.

I miss the random trips to multiple Walmarts until late 3am because rides were so cheap. Stuff in stores were so cheap.

I miss going out and being able to afford to change plans in the middle of the outing because it was cheap.

I miss the occasional bar hop and random late night deliveries. 5 people could each get 2-3 things each for delivery and it’d only be $50 (fees included).

I really do miss when life was worth living, even in my life time.

To a degree I think it’s funny that one of the biggest job hunting sites on the net put this here but at the same time I find it sad that they can’t just say ‘if you can’t provide ACCURATE and CORRECT pay information for your positions then you cannot post c:’ and enforce it. Just a thought.
