this is penelope bect, piggy’s best friend since the first grade and long time crush. penelope is 13 years old (just like piggy) and goes by she/her pronouns. piggy gifted her the pearl bracelet she wears on her right wrist every single day. she is a confident young lady with a a bit of a short temper but it comes from a good place of the heart. she is just very protective of her loved ones and wants the best for everyone. she hated how everyone was so cruel to the poor boy with specs just because he was larger and tended to be a “nerd.” she fell in love with him instantly (platonically at first and later on romantically) but was never able to express those feelings as piggy died before they ever confessed
