Nicolas Cage is an incredible actor who is very bad with money so he has to act in terrible movies because otherwise they will repossess his dinosaur skull collection.

But even when he is in terrible movies with terrible writing he refuses to phone in his performances. And sometimes when you are acting your ass off while saying some of the dumbest dialogue ever conceived it can give the appearance the acting is the issue rather than the writing and story.

Hayden Christensen knows that feeling all too well.

So next time you see Nic Cage in a B movie acting a fool, just know he probably bought some new shrunken heads and forgot to pay the mortgage on his volcano island.

Woke up today and realized I’m still angry at the sleepy hollow writers for ruining this.

Every so often, I remember how close to perfection season 1 of Sleepy Hollow was, and then how quickly and utterly the show runners fumbled that bag. I have been upset about TV shows before. I hated the ending of HIMYM, and you ALL know how I feel about Aang and the ending of ATLA, but Sleepy Hollow was a moment that needs to be studied in media literacy and history courses. Other shows have pissed me off, but I have never actually celebrated the ending of a show I once loved like I did with Sleepy.

How does one pronounce "Ba mi soro," the clan names, and the names of the Gods?

Sorry, I left this for so long in case I found more time to research, but I’m going to go ahead and throw this out there to followers! Any Yoruba-speakers who could help us out with pronunciation? Or the suggestion for a good site for Yoruba pronunciation?

If you can spring for the audiobook, I would also suggest that. They got an amazing narrator, and I suspect she had good pronunciation.
