Meet Ren!

Ren is a part of the global 20% that don't fully turn when infected (Often called a ghoul), but unfortunately, not a part of the 5% that are completely asymptomatic (Usually called Carriers). He's extremely vulnerable to becoming a host for diseases but generally, they don't affect him too much. Before being infected, he was usually anxious, now it's only worsened, followed by a few other symptoms such as sharper teeth, resistance to cold and moist weather, vulnerability to hot or dry climates, he no longer needs to eat so long as he stays out of the sun, sleep isn't necessary but it helps him heal faster, and he has constant migraines and dizzy spells. He also has trouble forming complete sentences, often trailing off mid-thought or turning words into a series of awkward sounds, no one can tell if that's because the virus fried his brain or if that's just how he's always been. He uses anything he can as a weapon, glass shards, metal pipes, frying pans and his fists being things he usually fights with, he always makes a point to avoid firearms.

Fun Facts! : Ren is Aria's brother, she often gives him her guns to hold onto, since he has an aversion to them so she trusts he wont use them. This trust is tested several times when he opts to use them as blunt weapons, pistol-whipping zombies instead of getting them to her, he's done the same with her cane since he carries it when she's not using it.

Meet Zoe !!

She's not infected, and has actually proven herself to be the most resistant to the disease in the group, she's been exposed to it multiple times but hasn't actually caught it, however, because she doesn't catch pathogens often it would probably affect her horribly if she were to catch it. She's easily aggrivated but doesn't tend to lash out, but sometimes she seems fine yet is concerningly brutal towards the full-zombies when given the chance. Zoe often acts as the begrudging voice of reason in the group, attempting to keep everyone on track and out of trouble but at the end of the day she can only do so much. Her weapon of choice is an old bat thats seen several rolls of electrical tape but stays sturdy nonetheless.

Fun Facts! : Usually she takes the longest night watch after rough or stressful days, spending it watching the sky. She tends to be generally concerned for the groups wellbeing and bad decisions, but some days she found it's easier to just go along with them.

Now presenting the first survivor of our group, Aria!

She's not infected at all but definitely the most murderous in the group. She's extremely weary and untrusting of any new people when around the other three because she feels like they're her responsibility as the oldest, but she often gets caught off-guard or sidetracked when she's alone. She has extremely sharp reflexes and responds fast to dangerous situations, but she often takes too long when faced with a decision, which can be bad depending on the situation. She usually gives weapons and supplies to her little brother as she prefers not to carry a lot and it's inconvenient when she's using her cane, this often leads to her teaching him certain first aid and medical techniques since he has all of the things she needs.

Fun Fact! : She has the most medical and firearm knowledge in the group, but she's not too good at close-range combat, usually opting to run for her life when things get bad and ushering the group away with her.

Hey there! My name is Plasma (Ren) and I'm excited to share this zombie apocalypse what-if with you! I've worked very hard on the worldbuilding and storytelling of this with my friends. But, what even is "Zombies"? It's a storytelling game that I got way too invested in! It follows three kids and a barely adult trying to survive a zombie virus I also spent too much time developing. There will be art! There will be lore! and there will be Zombies!
