clearly what amos is reacting to is roxie having told him this was just some random robber, and that’s a lie and obviously something else was going on, but I do think it’s very funny to hear it as amos being earnestly confused at the thought of being robbed by somebody you know, or at the though that furniture salesmen could also be burglars
