This is the larger #inktober2019 project to which I alluded in my last post. I'm not sure if it would qualify as a gag panel given its dimensions, but I was certainly trying to evoke that aesthetic. #inktober2019, Day 24. This is another one for which I used a weird panel layout, therefore rendering it incompatible with the swipe function. Point of Order: I should note that the days that I ostensibly missed were devoted to more time-consuming projects/pieces (all of which were done in ink). The one that I'm still finishing was created specifically for #inktober and I plan on posting it once I'm finished. Another was drawn as a commission, so I'm not sure when I'll be posting that one. There was even a piece that I started for a workshop before scrapping it entirely (probably won't post that one since I barely began inking). A while back, I read an interview with an illustrator whom I admire, during the course of which the artist in question stated that posting everything (including one's unsuccessful artwork) helps you build a following. Forgot that I converted my files of this image to CMYK so that they could be printed, but rest assured that I'll create and post an RGB version once I have access to the Adobe Suite again. I did manage to slightly tweak the CMYK version via Instagram filters and editing features on my phone in order to make it look at least somewhat passable.
