davey's leaning back in that old chair like he's never spilled ass over tea kettle doing this. rear legs only, teetering backward, waiting for gravity or someone with a mean streak to call his bluff and yank the chair back (it wouldn't be the first time). his legs are stretched out under the table, an ankle hooked lazily over the other, the picture of relaxation 'cause he's got all the time in the world to play. the cards in his hands are limp from years of use. there are years of bad hands and money gained from friends' pockets right in the palm of his hand. he cuts the deck quick and shuffles it with the same practiced hand. then, there's that grin carving itself across his face. "well, hell, bill." he began gently tossing the cards, letting the air take them to the familiar face across from him. "far be it from me to turn down a bad idea. you ready to lose?"

This has taken me way too long to build up any sense of courage to actually send something, but hello! I've been fixating really hard on these two for a bit now, so I got really excited when I saw the first posts for this.

Honestly this is most just a "Hello, happy you're here!" kind of thing because I'm panicking while writing this. :D

hey, hi, hello! weekends tend to be exceptionally busy for me which means I am about to go ghost!

this is a starter call. if you have a multi-muse page, I'll need you to specify what muse. should you have a preference to mac or davey, please specify. otherwise, i intend to split 'em as evenly as i can. here are my objectives for next tuesday, wednesday, and thursday :: add au|canon divergent information for both davey & mac to their informational posts. write headcanons for both. add a post regarding crossovers and verse specifications. post rp memes & prompts. you may have noticed that i added a quick note about rules in my theme description. if you cannot see it for some reason, here's the gist. no rules, use your head. don't be a fool. don't be a creep, i won't suffer either of them and i am well acquainted with the unfollow button and the block button, whether it's soft blocking or i send you into the void. if you're feeling mighty bold and friendly and want to send me something random in the mean time, i will give you a little smooch on the forehead.

𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 — mac was the younger of the callander twins, but you'd never know it. he carried himself like a man born with something to lose — or prove. he wasn't loud when he was angry but he crackled with intensity. a quiet heat that told you that you were already too close to the fire. mac callander burned fast and he often burned alone. despite his spinning moral compass, mac had a strong philosophical sense of what was right and what was wrong. these ideas were typically skewed toward his version of them. mac was fiercely loyal, dangerously quick to anger, and prone to spiraling once he was provoked. the sort who didn't make threats, but made promises or examples. bill once said that he was a heartless bastard..."but he had a heart, if that makes any sense." davey said once that he would have made a hell of a preacher if mac didn't like killing so much. the younger callander boy had a mind full of ideas and restitutions, the kind of thoughts most folk won't admit out loud. but mac always did; with the philosophy behind it on the tip of his tongue and a gun in his hand. agent milton suggested to arthur that he was still rambling about truth and freedom, even as was killing him, slow but merciful. mac had the makings of a sharpshooter, in fact he could've been a great one. his eye was sharp and his aim even better, but the truth was there. he hated distance. if he had to kill, he wanted to really feel it. look a man in the eye and taste the blood. his joy was expressed in a much different light and mac was often happy — celebration too big to be contained by a body. he was often loud and raucous, easily competing for levels of volume with the loquacious sean macguire.
