Square sucks as a company

For them to cancel a game after YEARS of work, a game that was practically finished, a game that had its soundtrack, cutscenes and story basically ready to go and they THREW IT IN THE RUBBISH

This is not Nomura or the Kingdom Hearts teams fault, Nomura loves his work and would’ve wanted to give this to us and probably fought all these years to get the game out. The team worked SO hard to only have their work squandered, THIS IS NOT THEIR FAULT ITS SQUARES!

I hope beyond hope that the story is still given to us somehow, through an animated thing like Back Cover or a book. I know for sure that Nomura won’t let this part of the Kingdom Hearts story to be hidden away or the hard work of his team to be forgotten

Don’t blame the team blame the GREEDY company who takes advantage of their work and chucks it away if it’s an “inconvenience” to them

Missing Link won’t be forgotten and I hope we will see it again someday even if it’s just the story and not the game itself

People already saying ML being cancelled is actually a good thing like, HOW?!

This game was gonna have a lot of important lore in it, lore that at best will now be integrated into kh4 but that would most likely mean even more development time and at worst it will be relegated to some secret reports most aren't even gonna read.

I get not caring much about it cause of the whole gatcha mobile thing, but saying a game that promised to be very important for the franchise getting cancelled is good just doesn't sit right with me lmao

So we got to see some screen shots of updated stuff from the Trailer. A new lighting picture of Strelitzia. A Phone thats prob important. MICKEY MOUSE WHERE TF ARE YOU!?!?!?! And thats it.

The only "New" info we got was that Phone and Mickey being somewhere.

At this moment, I really don't care. Like, ML was done. And this feels like nothing, like, we should have gotten these YEARS ago. If we ignore Missing Link, we literally heard nothing for 3 entire years. Imagine Pokemon just going silent for 3 years, no new nothing. That wouldn't fly with their fans.

It feels like damage control, and honestly I'm still upset they didn't tell us anything for years. It's the lack of Communication for me. This "New Management" isn't working. They need to talk to their fans. It felt like the only person who cared to talk with us was Nomura, because he would post Art sometimes. There was a piece he was gonna post but never did! We need to be informed and it's just upsetting they haven't done so.

I was honestly looking more forward to Missing Link because I knew I wouldn't have to spend any money. I'm always an F2P person for those games, because I know math and can get around the Gotcha with that alone.

Idk, I'm probably just not in it rn, in a few days? Yeah, I'd probably be more happy to see stuff from KH4, but this? Now? no... Sorry, it feels like they stabbed me in the heart and just put a bandage with mickey mouse on it.

man like if you had been removed from khml for a while or had never been attached to it you might think like oh haha of course this project is cancelled it never got off the ground. but MAN!!! you go back and look at everything and it’s like. man they had music and voice acting they had cutscenes they had character customization they had a battle system they had an aesthetic they had a story and lore they had a whole world built they were COOKING!!! they had a lot of food already made!!! they cannot just pour it all into the garbage without at least salvaging some of it for us!!! this straight up cannot be happening!!!!!! this CANNOT be the unceremonious end entirely!!! it is disrespectful to everyone who worked on it!!! please at least give us what you had!!!! the link was missing but it was not nonexistent!!!
