this applies to trans and non-binary people as well. there is nothing wrong with expressing femininity as a trans man/masculinity as a trans woman, or any other form of gender nonconformity, and yet there is still gatekeeping to gender expression within the trans community. no one owes anyone androgyny, femininity, or masculinity.

there is no one way to be queer. don't conform to the cisnormative narrative. be who you are.

“men should not wear dresses/appear feminine” why should people be denied experiences for something they cannot decide and was assigned to them years ago? if transphobes like to reduce people to chromosomes and genitalia, then why does the act of simply wearing clothing shatter their whole notion of masculinity?

i think the coolest thing about being knowledgeable in something is that you get to have favourites (that other people may not understand). like how math people have their favourite theorems and geoguessr players have favourite poles. its like a secret exclusive group that most people just dont get to see
