this probably make sense to only me, but i've decided that elias voit from criminal minds: evolution is like blaine debeers from izombie. they are both the series long villain who is a thorn in the side of the good guys, a serial killer with a kill count in the dozens, a warped sense of humour with witty one liners (voit: "back at it like a crack addict"; blaine: "first rule of brain club: you do not talk about brain club."), and a connection to one of the members of the crime-solving team (voit & rossi, blaine & liv).
