Chapter One: Settlement

One moon after the final battle, the Wildwood Champion reflects on hir place in the Jade Alliance. This introspection is interrupted by an unexpected call, and a warning. Something is brewing, something dark, and the Wildwood will be the eye of the storm.

A new prophecy has surfaced in the cosmos, warning of disaster reaching for both realms. and all of it seems to spiral out from the Wildwood. Or, more specifically, the Wildwood Champion themself. The reformed deity has no wish to bring ruin, but perhaps their sins are too great to outrun?

The cats of the Wildwood Colony, the Forest Guardian, and unlikely allies in both realms are all dedicated to stopping the prophecy from coming to pass. But time is running out, and rising tensions may bring the two realms to clash in a way no being could have imagined.
