Honestly I could see a fallout vault(s) where somebody at vault tec wanted to prove communism wouldn’t work by putting it and a capitalist vault in the same connected system with the same amount of resources only the overseer of the capitalist vault is tasked to sabotage the communist vault at every opportunity metatextually showing how communism historically only fails due to capitalist interference and how that even the “experiment” was rigged due to capitalisms hostility to cooperation. Only Todd Howard would never want to do actually anti capitalist messaging in a fallout game

Something about the mix of beeping computers filled with pulsating flesh would be really cool in a simulated space I think :)

I went to Goodsprings two days ago and it was interesting to see that the inside of Pioneer Saloon is split right down the middle showing off the two things they’re known for, so half of it is all like “here’s where famous actress Carole Lombard and a group of soldiers exploded when their plane crashed in the mountains” and half of it is like “hey gamers, check out our Fallout merch and display, if you’re lucky, you might just get to meet the real Easy Pete ;)” it’s quite the contrast having both things in the same room.

I’m going to Vegas and California this Sunday for a week with my family, so you bet I’ll be taking lots of pictures and posting them here as part of a Fallout-themed pilgrimage lol. We’ve done this once before in 2020 but that was before I got into Fallout.

I’ve convinced my parents to tour Hoover Dam, I might be able to convince my parents to visit Goodsprings (probably just to eat lunch or something at that saloon), my mom wants to see Zion National Park (if we see anybody cosplaying as Joshua Graham I’m running), so yeah lots of opportunities there. LA and other places in California, not so much since FO1 and 2 weren’t for the most part specific about their game locations in those places, but I’ll still take pics anyway for the memories.

The frame on my glasses broke yesterday and I don’t think the new ones I bought will come in time before our departure, so the ones I have now are being held together with super glue, duct tape, and a prayer.

Hey folks, I was hoping I wouldn't need to do this again, but after talking to my partner we thought it might be helpful to try. We're a trans woman and an enby who could use the help right now.

My partner's mother just passed away less than a week ago, and my partner is devastated. I'm doing my best to be supportive in a particularly difficult time, but I'm also struggling with schoolwork as well. The most important thing we need right now is a bit of extra money to help with groceries and gas.

We are very aware that there are many people on this site who need help more severely right now, and we don't want to take attention from them. If you only have 20$ to give, go find a vetted fundraiser from gaza. They need it more. I have shared multiple on this blog already- and they should take immediate precedent.

That being said, if you have extra to give, the help would be immense, and it would go a long way to helping us in a difficult time, and making sure we can continue to eat and get around through all this. Thank you.
