Heavy Infantry Mandalorian Sixth Scale Collectible coming from Sideshow Collectibles.
Hello Collectors!! If you’re reading this article, chances are you know what a Mandalorian is. Even better, you know about Disney +, The Mandalorian series, baby Yoda species and the slew of Mandalorian merch and figures that are flying off the shelf faster than you can say “This is the way.”
Well, my fellow fans, Sideshow Collectibles and Hot Toys are once again dropping fire with their newest announcement; The Heavy Infantry Mandalorian Sixth Scale Collectible Figure!

Returning to the enclave on a volcanic world with a camtono of Imperial beskar, the Mandalorian intending to create new armor from it was confronted by a group of other Mandalorians, including Heavy Infantry Mandalorian, who condemned the lone gunfighter for transacting with the Empire.
The highly-accurate Mandalorian figure is specially crafted based on the image of Heavy Infantry Mandalorian. Highlighting the features are the newly designed helmet and armor pieces, meticulously tailored outfit, beautifully applied weathering effects, finely sculpted jetpack, highly detailed and articulated heavy blaster with ammo belt, a blade, and a desert-themed figure base.
If you like what you see, you can head over to Sideshow now and secure your pre-order. The release date for this Sixth Scale beauty is sometime between Oct-Dec 2020.

Stan Lee's daughter: 'No one could have treated my father worse than Marvel and Disney's executives'
The Sony, Disney and Spider-Man escapade continues and this time it seems Stan Lee’s daughter is chiming in with support to Sony.
The full story is reported over at CNBC but sources say Lee seemed to support Sony's decision not to accept this new co-financing deal.
"When my father died, no one from Marvel or Disney reached out to me," Lee said. "From day one, they have commoditized my father's work and never shown him or his legacy any respect or decency. In the end, no one could have treated my father worse than Marvel and Disney's executives."
In a statement to TMZ, Joan Lee said Marvel and Disney need to be "checked and balanced" as they seek total control of her father's creations.
"Whether it's Sony or someone else's, the continued evolution of Stan's characters and his legacy deserves multiple points of view," she said. While legendary comic book writer Lee created the Spider-Man character for Marvel comics in the 1960s, Sony has owned the film rights to the character for about two decades.
Disney, which owns Marvel, and Sony had penned a deal in 2015 that would bring Spider-Man into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In the initial deal between the two companies, Sony would allow Marvel's creative team to integrate Spider-Man into its cinematic universe and would put up 100% of the production costs.
In exchange, Disney received 5% of "first-dollar gross," or 5% of the ticket sales from the first day of the release, and retained the merchandising rights for the character. Sony, would reap the rest of the box office haul.
Disney reportedly proposed a 50/50 co-financing deal, meaning each company would put up half of the production costs and then split the profits, according to entertainment news website Deadline. Sony reportedly refused.
If talks do not resume, it is likely that Spider-Man will no longer be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and that could be bad for both Sony and Marvel.
Lee seemed to support Sony's decision not to accept this new co-financing deal.
What do you think of the Spider-Man MCU turmoil? Do you really care what happens, has long as we get Spider-Man movies? Let us know below!

Spider-Man: Sony Releases an Official Statement to Clarify Its Disney Relationship.
Sony Pictures, Disney and Spider-Man.
io9 is reporting that Sony has released an official response to the recently reported news that Disney and Sony reached an impasse on its Spider-Man partnership, calling many of the stories “mischaracterized” and squaring much of the blame on Marvel Studio president Kevin Feige’s workload.
In a rare public statement, Sony released a thread on Twitter late last night discussing the widely-circulated and contentious news. The company said it’s disappointed by Disney’s decision to no longer have Feige as a lead producer on Sony’s Spider-Man films, claiming it’s because of Feige’s increased workload following Disney’s acquisition of Fox. Disney has not commented on these claims but also said it hopes the situation “might change in the future.”
Here’s the statement in full:
Much of today’s news about Spider-Man has mischaracterized recent discussions about Kevin Feige’s involvement in the franchise. We are disappointed, but respect Disney’s decision not to have him continue as a lead producer of our next live action Spider-Man film. We hope this might change in the future, but understand that the many new responsibilities that Disney has given him—including all their newly added Marvel properties—do not allow time for him to work on IP they do not own. Kevin is terrific and we are grateful for his help and guidance and appreciate the path he has helped put us on, which we will continue.
Deadline reported on Monday that Disney and Sony had failed to reach an agreement regarding their continued Spider-Man partnership. Disney reportedly wanted an even split of the gross, not content to stay at the previously agreed on 5 percent. Deadline adds, “Sources said that Sony, led by Tom Rothman and Tony Vinciquerra, came back with other configurations, but Disney didn’t want to do that.” If the failed negotiations stand, this means Feige will no longer serve as a producer on the next two Spider-Man films starring Tom Holland which were apparently planned.
There’s also the issue of the other aspects of Disney and Sony’s agreement, which allowed Disney’s Marvel characters to appear in Sony’s Spider-Man films, and vice versa. If Disney has truly walked away from the partnership, that could mean the crossover agreement (which was done in exchange for co-producer credit on Sony’s films) is also off the table, and both companies would have to go to the drawing board to establish those terms.
In an update to its story post-statement, Deadline characterized Sony’s comments as an attempt to “spin” its previous report (Sony gave its statement to the Hollywood Reporter before tweeting it out). Sources told the outlet that Marvel and Feige would not have pulled out of future Spider-Man films, as “Feige loves Spider-Man,” if Sony had agreed to Disney’s terms. We’ll bring you more on this story as we know it.
Head over to io9 for more information.

DC Comics and McFarlane Toys are teaming up.
The future of DC Comics and McFarlane Toys.
Via IGN and Toynewsi, McFarlane Toys has announced they have entered into a licensing agreement with Warner Bros to do 6"-12" ultra-posable action figures based on the DC Comics library of characters. Now this doesn't necessarily exclude Mattel from continuing their own figures, and Mattel has yet to make any kind of formal announcement about this, but I think the writing is on the wall now. McFarlane Toys figures generally are not known for articulation, however if you have checked out their recent Fortnite figures, then you know the company has been making improvements on that front, so we’ll just have to wait and see what they do here, and will Todd McFarlane, the man behind the company who is a comic book artist great, how much influence will he have on the actual designs? Would Todd McFarlane inspired DC figures interest you? McFarlane won't be taking over until 2020 so don't expect any reveals from them this year at Toy Fair on the DC front, but SDCC will probably be an interesting time for DC fans. We will be interviewing Todd himself this weekend so you better believe this will be topic of discussion #1 for us when we do.

DC Comics Q-Master Batman Family Diorama Statue.
While Batman could be considered the ultimate loner, the reality is that he’s actually all about family. It’s made apparent in everything he does and everything he is. The death of his family made him who he is and in turn he fights to make sure no one else ever suffers the loss of loved ones like he did. He is forever building family around him, despite his protests to the contrary.
QMx Creative Director Mohammad Haque has perfectly captured that paradox in this figure, titled simply “Family”. Exploring this little discussed, but key aspect of the Batman character: That of family man.
The first in a new series of large format dioramas called “Q-Master” this diorama stands over 15 inches tall. It encompasses the entire history of Batman’s relationships in crime fighting, and includes all his various proteges. Each sidekick is represented in this piece, with their positioning and expressions reflecting their personalities and relationships with Batman.
Jockeying for position over Batman’s right shoulder, Damian Wayne (Robin) and Jason Todd (Red Hood). Tim Drake (Red Robin) sits on Batman’s left shoulder and holds one of his cowl’s ears. Barbara Gordon (Batgirl) sits on Batman’s right arm and shares a playful look with him. Dick Grayson (Nightwing, formerly Robin) looks over Batman’s left shoulder.
Q-Master is an evolution of the Q-Fig style, mixing both super-deformed and realistic elements. But don't be fooled - those sidekicks may look like Q-Figs, but they're actually 50% bigger! Additionally “Family” is cast in Everstone™, a proprietary high-temperature polyresin that allows for greater durability, precise detail and adds a solid weight that resists fading and fracture.
This limited edition figure and will come with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity signed by its creator, Mohammad Hague and will ship in a specially designed collectors box. Head over to BigBadToyStore.com for more images and pre-order information.
