Here's an advertisement for The Grimm Variations, also known as "The Grimm Suite" (グリム組曲) that includes a few statements from its creators.

We are honored to be able to participate in this work as a character designer. We are really looking forward to seeing The Grimm Suite written by Michiko Yokote and illustrated by WIT.

This work is like a sweet and beautiful candy. However, there are some parts that are bitter and astringent. Including poison. Please consume with care.

Taiki Sakurai's concept was both very innovative and orthodox, and we all worked together to create the work while stimulating each other. I never imagined that such careful film scoring could be done...

This was my first time doing character design. It was a character design by CLAMP, and since there are many fans of the character, I was conscious of drawing it while keeping CLAMP's strengths alive. I hope you watch the video and think, ``Wow, this is a CLAMP work.'' There are also characters that don't often appear in CLAMP works, so I hope you enjoy that as well.

The Grimm Variations comes out tomorrow on Netflix!

Something I did not realize as it was poorly translated in English media. Thanks Netflix... let me advertise for you then... -_-

Firstly, the characters are made by CLAMP. Usually CLAMP will make character concept designs (such as Code Geass), but these characters were made by CLAMP.

Secondly, each episode has a different director, according to Wikipedia.

Based on the fact that Wit Studio is animating is, it's to be expected that Attack on Titan and Ancient Magus Bride alumni would work with the animation studio for a new project.

I have great expectations for the Pied Piper of Hamelin, though. Based simply on the fact that Nazakawa was a unit director (assistant director) for The Boy and The Heron, When Marnie Was There, and From Up On Poppy Hill... not to forget Mary and the Witch's Flower.

I can't wait until tomorrow!

Remember when I linked the Rayearth: Wings of Hope LD rip from internet archive? Well, the rough cut of the subs have been finished!

I'd consider this a version "0.9" since I'm not a native speaker. I use machine translation and my limited Japanese knowledge. I do subs as a means to make sure that media doesn't fall into obscurity.

Another full moon, this moon is a penumbral lunar eclipse right before we get the solar eclipse! OF COURSE, CLAMP had to give us a really cool character for this lunar cycle.

This month's is Miyuki from Mizuki-chan in Wonderland hugging an oversized slice of bread.

The pajamas are illegally cute also....
