You're cool, and you have a great blog, and anyone who tries to offend you will be dealing with the old gods and the seven
This is so kind! Thank you.
Thankfully I’m used to any hate. Between tumblr and my TikTok (which gets me hate on Reddit and Twitter) I’ve had my fair share of hate to a point I don’t care anymore.
But sweet messages like this always brighten my day. Thanks again :)

idc if dany is the prince that was promised but her stans harassing people about it are INSUFFERABLE + the azor ahai.. i see them CRYING whenever someone says it could be jon instead of her.. like get a GRIP 😭
You’re right. And it’s annoying as heck that you cannot have an opinion on this series without Dany Stans thinking it’s a personal attack.
And the thing is I don’t even think there is a PTWP in a literal prophetic sense. Prophecies in GRRM’s work are destructive and oftentimes self-fulfilling. People hear a prophecy and then insert their own self-importance into it. They assume it’s about them and then do everything to make it come true/not come true. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. But if you throw enough things at the wall something is bound the stick.
The PTWP is just whoever will kill the Night King. Simple as. All these other qualifications the prophecy gives don’t matter. To believe that these prophecies are actually destiny is foolish imo. We’ve seen first hand that these prophecies bring destruction and do more harm than good (looking at you Rhaegar). And we’ve also seen these prophecies be straight up wrong and misinterpreted (looking at you Melisandre).
At the end of the day, do I think Dany is the prince(ss) that was promised? No. But I don’t know for sure! What I do know is that it really doesn’t matter. It’s a theory based on a vague prophecy that people have already gotten wrong plenty of times. And her stans need to get a grip because she’s not real.
This is fiction. It’s supposed to be fun and a chance for us all to theorize. Not a reason to cry because someone else doesn’t think your girl is the specialest girl to ever special and somehow link it to morality.

So Rhaenyra's children were bastards. Yes, in the book too. Deal with it.

For a brief moment I lived in a world where SanSan shippers and Sandor defenders weren’t real and I was so happy. But naturally the filth of this fandom comes up and strikes at the worst times and ruins all good things.
So a reminder: TW SA
Sandor Clegane is a grown man and creep who is sexually attracted to a girl between the ages of 12-14.
Even if he didn’t act on it, the mere fact that he is interested in sleeping with a child is disturbing and disgusting.
It’s not unfathomable that Sandor would r*pe Sansa, he very much considered it and admitted as much.
Just because he didn’t officially r*pe Sansa does not mean that his actions during the battle of Blackwater were “good” just by comparison. A key part of SA is the power the perpetrator holds over the victim. When he’s holding her down on a bed with a knife to her throat telling her to sing for her life, he’s still getting a similar gratification
Being drunk does not justify what Sandor did to Sansa
If you ship those two you have to look at the fact that you ship a child with a grown man who considered r*ping her and accept that with fullness of chest
There’s no way around this. SanSan as a ship is vile. Sandor is not the misunderstood, sad knight who just needs to be “saved”. He’s a brutal and savage man who is attracted to little girls (at least one).
And btw if you are angry that Jorah is a creep to Dany then you gotta carry that energy for Sandor and Sansa. Because regardless of how you may feel about either character, both are literal girls who are victims of grown men.

Thinking about how it’s somehow considered anti-Daenerys to think she will go dark at the end of the series. Like I don’t hate the character. I just don’t think she will be the most specialist good girl to ever good.
It should be anti-Daenerys to think that her character arc will be a tragedy of a girl who was traumatized and wanted to do good but could not see the flaws in her own methods and actions until it was too late. And this would make her one of the best written characters of all time because a majority of fans supported her and they fell for the same trap she did.
Like it’s not anti or hate. I just think she will be a tragic character and go dark.

Aegon III x Jaehaera Targaryen
the silly fic I've been working on! Jaehaera is afraid of being killed in her both loveless and heirless marriage, whilst Aegon is trying to keep the Red Keep from falling apart.
Jaehaera laughed bitterly, her eyes burning with unshed tears. “Do you think I do not see how Lady Baela parades Daenaera Velaryon before you, showing off the girl at every turn?” she yelled, her exhaustion breaking through.
“Do you think they will force me to cast you aside and take her as a second wife?” Aegon demanded. Jaehaera huffed, her fingers finding the cold metal of her ring—her father's ring. “I am afraid they will kill me."

I don't know why this needs to be said, but not a single woman who exists in the world of asoiaf, needs to learn as an adult woman, that the patriarchy will not protect her. Every single woman in that world by the time they reach adulthood, are fully aware that they are at the will of the men around her and can only navigate as best she can regardless of that.
And a woman who was maritally raped at 15 and forced to give birth to 4 children before the age of 20, certainly does not need to learn this lesson in the second season of the show when she's in her 30's. Alicent Hightower was fully aware that men will not protect her. That the patriarchy will not protect her. And that she needs to stand alone amongst those men and do as best she can regardless of what obstacles she will face from those men along the way.
Alicent learned that lesson already and it was literally the entire fucking point of this scene:
