•The draconic summit this winter has been absolutely amazing! Though we are not done yet! For the last day of the draconic summit we still have a few interesting panels premiering!

"An Inner Force Unknown - Is it my Hearthome?" - A presentation discussing powerful spiritual feelings one of our panelists over the year that could be related to hearthomes.

"The Foundations of Draconic Spirituality" - Luunaathh, the creator of the draconic summit, will be discussing their own draithconic spiritual path and giving tips on how others can start or continue a draconic spiritual path.

"BYOD (Bring Your Own Dragon) - The Future" - A discussion panel meant to ask the summit community questions regarding how they see their dracinity evolving or changing over the years.

"Draconic Summit Guided Meditation" - "A relaxing and calming guided meditation meant to help one awaken and embrace their inner dragon.

"Draconic History and Oldbies Meet" - A community history panel presented by a dragon who was around the alt.fan.dragons community from 1997 to 2003. This panel is an amazing opportunity to understand what the dragonkin community was like before the turn of the century.

"Loving Humanity" - A panel discussing how important it is to love your own humanity and humanity themselves, even as a dragon!

"The Indigenous Dragon?-An Indigenous Mesoamerican Dancer's Balancing Act of Humanity and Nomhumanity" - The creator of the draconic summit Luunaathh will be sharing her experiences with embracing both their indigenous human heritage and their nonhumanity.

"The Thrill of the Hunt: Managing Draconic Hunting Instincts and Cravings" - An 18+ text panel that wishes to discuss hunting instincts among dragons and safe ways to deal with them.

•Calling all pacific northwest alterhumans! The draconic summit physical meetup will be happening in Seattle a week from now! Everything for the meetup has been meticulously planned, all travel expenses have been paid for, the only thing that needs to happen is for everyone to show up! We have a few fun activities planned that we believe everyone will enjoy, we will be going on day trips to the aquarium, the zoo, the natural history museum, and we will be going on a beautiful hike in the mountains! This meetup is sure to be an absolute blast and we want to share that fun with as many as we can!

•This meetup is for any alterhuman to attend! The summit meetup is primarily for the draconic summit attendees though we will welcome anyone who is alterhuman to join in on the fun! You do not have to be draconic in any way to hang out with us!

•Greetings! The Otherkind of Color Alliance is a brand new discord server specifically for alterhumans of color who wish to gather in their own space to have general conversation and make new connections!

•In a predominantly white community, it can be really difficult for alterhumans of color to make connections when we are so fragmented and underrepresented. This space seeks to change that! The otherkind of color alliance is a space made by people of color, for people of color! Any non-white person is free to join this space, regardless of whether they identify as any kind of alterhuman or not! We pride ourselves on being a welcoming, safe space for all manner of individuals!

•We welcome all non-white/non-european people of color, we are also a safe space for mixed race people of color and fair skinned mixed people! We will not under any circumstances welcome white people who claim 1/16th or 1/10th of any minority heritage in the server. Additionally, this space is ONLY for people of color/people who have a considerable amount of non-white heritage. We hold nothing against the genuine white allies of racial minorities, it is only to keep our space as safe and comfortable as possible for our members and to keep this space specifically for people of color.

The powwow of the nonhuman is an annual online event that was created to allow for the representation for indigenous therians and otherkind of all walks of life! Ok heya!! Yeah, I'm interested in the draconic summit. So, what all happens exactly? I see stuff about presentations, but does everyone who joins have to make a presentation?

•Greetings! The draconic summit is an event hosted on discord, so the entire event will be taking place at the official draconic summit discord server. Individuals who attend will be using text chatrooms and voice chatrooms to interact and talk throughout the course of the event. The discord server has several stage channels where presenters will be streaming and hosting their panels live. Many of these presentations are lectures, though others consist of both slideshow presentations and a lecture! Not everyone who attends the summit needs to create a presentation, they are completely optional! Someone can attend the draconic summit just because they want to meet other dragons or see presentations!

The other way to sign up for the draconic summit is by private messaging one of our staff members stating that you wish to attend the draconic summit. •It is now May! The draconic summit is happening in one month (May 31st-June 2nd) and we have less time to prepare than we think. There will be an official post made with the scheduled panels and presentations taking place this summit in two weeks. If you want to host a panel this summit and have it advertised on our official summer summit 2024 post, you need to present one of our staff members with your panel title, your panel topic, and when you want to schedule your panel within that two week period. Our prime panel time slots are quickly filling up, so reserve your time slot while you can! •There are now two methods for signing up for the draconic summit. The first method is joining the celestial spire server, an 18+ dragonkind discord server where draconic identifying individuals and non-draconic individuals can interact in a safe environment. If you are not of at least 18 years of age or prefer to simply receive a link to the event, please send a private message to one of the summit staff members listed in this accounts bio information, stating that you would like to attend the summit, and you will receive a link via said private message when the day of the summit arrives. The summit staff have chosen these methods of signing up for the event in order to help ensure the safety of the event and remove any potential trolls, drama stirrers, or abusive people who may wish to infiltrate the event.
