There’s about be some brutal pigeon turf wars in this book. Why? So I can create a reflection of the book’s current societal issues? No. It’s cause I witnessed a bird war between a few hummingbirds over the sugar water feeder in my front yard. It’s a very serious issue and I’m afraid to admit that they have now gotten children of said hummingbirds to participate in the fights. Yes, they all have names. My dad named them all.

Well, in the eyes of the government, Kai is most definitely. I suppose selling body parts on the dark web to make money is a bit of a crime, but to be honest Kai and one other villain are kind of just morally grey in comparison to the real villains.

Kai has that Robin Hood type feel just with a lot more murder, but then again the superheroes in this story also sometimes do some murdering to save the day and are praised for it!

Guys, I feel a little stupid. I was just doing my usual little writings for the error and all of sudden I realized that I never thought about a supervillain RO….how did that not pass my mind? Like I’m not making a new RO or anything, but it astounds me that I somehow never thought of it. I mean Kai is an antihero like the MC, but I didn’t do a supervillain RO. That’s just crazy to me.

Maybe I’ll add one as like a dlc to it. Of course that would be after I add the routes for the other characters.

Not to brag or anything, but I finally found a template that I liked and solves the issues of my demo previously not having any different fonts, color schemes, and text size so that’s good. Currently trying to use my smooth brain to figure out some of the macros and code.

So you got rid of all the POC ROs?

Nope! Quinn is Hispanic and Kai is half Brazilian and half Turkish. Though they did grow up in America, they are still very connected to each of their culture as it is apart of the identity and will be reflected in the book.

I understand the frustration with POC ROs being removed as it does cut down the representation of POC in a romantic setting at this particular instance. There are several reasons behind my decision to cut Jordan, Rory, and Hayden, but being POC was not one of them.

1. I went with the most popular ROs which happen to be Rowan, Sawyer, Quinn, and Kai.

2. Jordan, Rory, and Hayden will still remain in the game, but not as ROs. Their romantic routes might be added back in once I get to a good point of progress and feel comfortable with that amount of ROs to juggle.

3. If you still are upset with the lack of POC ROs, don’t read it, but I can recommend some amazing authors with POC cast

Ugh I’ve been dreading making this post for the longest time….

So yeah my comeback has not been all sparkles and everything I’ve expected it to be. Last end of college I became depressed and had to go back to therapy which helped indeed. Went through a break up and a situationship throughout college and honestly kind of lost myself. So there’s been no progress. Honestly it’s sad how I keep doing this to yall. The constant promises and everything just to yank it away from you. I’m done.

Thankfully my therapist and boyfriend are very supportive as well as my friends are insisting I do what makes me happy and this is what makes me happy. Guess that kind of makes me a masochist. So here’s the news.

I can’t promise constant progress on working on the IF and I’m downsizing. No more eight characters. We are sticking to four. Four seems a lot more attainable right now and who knows. Maybe I’ll go back in and write the romance for all of them.

So prepare for the shocking blood bath. The only romance options there will now be are:

-Sawyer

-Kai

-Quinn

-Rowan

Sorry to those who love Rory, Jordan, and Hayden. They are just not obtainable right now. Maybe in the future. And sorry to the one character that was supposed to be a love interest later in the book, but you’re cut for now.

I’m sorry guys, but I have to make this realistic for now. Or you know if enough people whine. Maybe I’ll release the chapter and then slowly add in each romance route in.

Hi, it’s been a while hasn’t it? Yeah, I’m sorry. Listen I really tried for a while to do this whole interactive story thing, but it’s just not really working. So here’s an explanation on what is going to happen.

1. I’m redoing everything! That’s right. You heard me. Every single thing is going to be redone. Right down to every single character! Well I mean the characters as you know them will theoretically stay the same but I’m recreating them and I’m going to do the character sheet for real this time. No more flying by the seat of my pants!

2. No more schedules! Well, not while I’m a college at least. Being a premed major who struggles with chemistry is a major pain in the ass and I have to give my focus to it.

3. I’m going to actually ask for help and communicating things. No more everything’s going fine while I’m secretly struggling with pressure and mental health.

4. I want you guys to actually be a part of this creation process. If I’m simply at a loss for what I want to do or on how to proceed. I’m gonna ask you all.

5. To anyone who has sent anything in my inbox, I promise I read them every single day. I truly appreciate every single one of them. I really do love you guys.
