Surprised to see a message from his assistant this early in the morning he fishes for his phone, eyes scanning the text before a huff already escapes him and it only gets worse from there.

He grumbles at said phone for a few seconds. Of course he god damn knows this. As if he would forget any of his children's birthdays. Yes he never really celebrated them because he had always been on the road. Never at home and he regrets it. Shit. What is this feeling in his chest. He didn't ask for this. This is so annoying.

Of course he did remember Shotos birthday. He did think about reaching out. He would have send a text for sure but- he also didn't want to overstay his welcome? Shoto still kept himself at a respectful distance and that was fine for Enji. He was okay with that. He would give him the space he needed?! That's what he was suppsoed to do? Right? RIGHT!?

Feeling a tension headache throbbing behind his forehead he groans again. He's read her message once, twice, trice. How dare she. How dare she think he would forget that. He never forgot it! He just wasn't around. That's different!! And he hates himself for it.

Enji clenches his fists without thinking and the phone goes up in flames - god damn it that's the third one this week - but he can't help it. He barely manages to check his surroundings, head going left-right-left and he finds no one there to see him. Good. Since everything is clear he suddenly bursts into flames. A storm for raging fire erupting around him:

"AS IF I NEED YOUR REMINDER FOR THIS - OF COURSE I WILL!!!!"

Grumbly because: Don't speak to my right hand manager (and adopted daughter) like that other me.

You discover one of your Sponsor Reps yelled at Rima during a phone call. What is your initial reaction?

"I call them and ask what the hell they think they're doing?"

Enji, if you could wish for anything what would it be?

Being asked like that he replies with a grunted: "That's none of your damn business" but deep down he knows exactly what he would wish for. He would wish to have known what to do when his world was turned upside down.

He would have wished to have known how to handle his wife's declining mental health, how to be a good father to his oldest and to his youngest, how to take care of all of them while withholding his job, not just as a rising pro-hero but as a father too.

He would wish to have known sooner how to show kindness, love, support and understanding for his family the way they needed it but at the time, he had been blinded by unfathomable rage and envy, by burning ambitions fully consuming him.

He hated it. All of it. Nothing could possibly describe how much he hated himself for this. For not knowing better, for not noticing sooner, for never asking for help when he should have. He would wish to have known how to be the hero they deserved.

Sir, do you ever count the number of canned coffees Rima go's through in a day? Does it ever worry you?

"It does but, she's a grown-up now, I don't think her coffee consumption is any of my business anymore, as long as she's functioning accordingly." that's what he says but, it's only half the truth.

Of course he cares about her health too, that's kind of his job but, now that she's not a teenager anymore, he can't outrule multiple cans of coffee a day. It does concern him, even if it's her choice. He told her about possible side-effects too, but in the end it's up to her what to do with that.

"I'm certain, I can trust her to monitor her intake of caffeine to not overdo it. She would never risk serious consequences."

Now that he's thinking about it though: "Maybe we should stock up on decaf options too...." it's worth a try at least. If it's a question of taste, decaf coffee is no different from regular, right? Maybe he will ask her about it soon. @penandswords

For now he's only gonna watch the scene and see what happens. He doesn't feel the need to interfere. She can take care of herself.

@heterochromatica and I were talking about all the different things, that would require a large Agency to function smoothly.

And this is what we came up with! (mostly for Endeavors Agency)

In the Successor Verse - Rima falls into the Personal assistant catagory.

But in her Main Verse - She falls into the marketing category.

How do you feel about Shoto and Bakugo dating ?

Enji knew this question would come up sooner or later and still, he's not prepared for it as much as he should be. He doesn't really know how to answer it. He doesn't feel like it's his place to be judging their relationship but, of course he is worried.

He cares, even if he's admittedly bad at showing it. Some traits he sees in Bakugo remind him of himself. He likes that the boy is determined, smart, with the heart of a hero and a never-giving-up attitude.

Enji was like that too when he was young. Full of hopes and dreams and determination but that all changed when he realized that no matter how fast he would run, he'd never catch up. That's when everything started to change.

He can only hope that this point never comes for them.

On the other hand Shoto is not someone to take any bullshit either. Enji knows he doesn't have to worry about that and considering how many times Bakugo declared to be marrying his soon as soon as possible...

It's not just a phase...

In the end it boils down to a single thought to summarize his overall feelings. "The only thing that matters to me, is that my son is happy."

A perfectly fitted orange sweater was sent to his office, a business present from The Mode Company.

"Uh..." he eyes the fabric auspiciously. Hopefully this is not supposed to be bribery?

He already has a manufacturer for his suits and stuff but, it is nice. He can't deny that. It feels soft to the touch and looks really good.

He will probably have Rima send them an appropriate thank you or something but... he can't wear it. He doesn't wear fabrics like that because of the potential fire-hazard.

Endeavor, is there any part of you. That feels pride when rima doesn't let people bully her?

"Tch. Of course, this is what I expect from all my employees. They know their worth, they have an important job to do, each and everyone of them is valuable in their own right."

He takes that coffee, immediately taking a sip while eyeing the surrounding strangers with growing suspicion.

"Do not let them bother you."

"Why would her cloak bother me? I'm glad she's wearing one. Tch. As long as she does her job accordingly...."
