Practice some self care (whatever that looks like for you, but common ones are showering, drinking water, eating enough, affirmations, etc)

Go outside (can do one or multiple of the above while doing this)

Alternatively to the above, open a window for some fresh air

Lmaooo if Elara's party ever visits her hometown they're just ambushed by a bunch of her old friends

Ok I wanted to tell someone who would understand the reference for my new DND character (and I just remembered you play!)

So! My character, a wood elf Bard, is named Elara Callisto- and she has a vaguely East-coast accent.

I love it because I made her related to the Greers (Milo is her cousin and Marie her aunt). None of my friends know the characters/Redacted, but it's just a fun little easter egg for myself!

Should I add Sweetheart into the family as Milo's partner? Maybe Colm as the weird estranged uncle? Maybe the rest of the Pack could fit in somewhere in Elara's backstory.

I do play DnD! A lot! I shamelessly stole the name Min'Ara for my Circle of Stars Druid and 100% full on played Caelum for a one-shot a while back lol

Hey, swiping stuff like that for your DnD characters that are just for you and the rest of your group knows nothing about makes the game more fun! (In my opinion. Playing Caelum gave me a Very Easy guide for how to roleplay a personality when I didn't initially have time to come up with a backstory)

Frickin' add Sweetheart in if you want! Who cares, it's all for fun! Adapt the stories however you want that fits what you need it to be.

Consider this: the rest of the pack is Elara's cousin's "weird friends" that she went on a camping(?) trip with when she was "a kid" (by elf standards) and the DnD equivalent of Asher made so many innuendos it may or may not have ruined her innocence but ssshhh don't tell Auntie Marie or she'll beat his ass and because it's a DnD backstory there has to be some tragedy so something bad happened on the trip

I….personally think Marie is a 5’0 darkskin woman with a full head of curly hair and yellowish hazelish eyes. I also think she has a few smile wrinkles that she used to be a little insecure about cuz she didn’t wanna feel old, but Milo as a teenager told her that it just shows how happy she is :)

I'm so glad your show went well! It definitely sucks to lose a show, but congrats on selling out!!

Aww you seem like a wonderful teacher, I'm sure your cast is incredibly grateful for you! And doing it by yourself? Insane! Our director has at least 3 other people helping, and I can't imagine doing all that work or even going through and learning all of that with only one teacher!

Hello! All went well, we had a great closing night on Friday!

It was definitely a tear-filled night though-

Once I got backstage and started taking off my costume I started crying 😅 I was just heartbroken to be retiring my character! I'd gotten to attached in such a short amount of time, and I wasn't ready for the show to be over 🥲

But our cast party was great! We watched part of the Legally Blonde movie, had snacks and pizza, and then went to a park to goof off... unfortunately we were too loud and a cop (who was fairly nice about it) kicked us out 😂

How is your show going? What's directing like?

Ahhh thank you!! It's been... something... considering we have a live orchestra (but no pit lol) and a billion set changes- but it's been fun!

Does anyone ever think about the possibility that in Imperium, Freelancer most likely volunteered to feed some of the daemons. Like they knew it wouldn't hurt them and it could help someone (which is a big part of their personality imo)

But imagine them going to see Vega after a particularly bad meeting with President Moore and him taking all of their bad feelings before they go to see Vindemiator. He normally doesn't take all the feelings from those who feed him, but as FL is Vin's "pet" as he sees it, he feels a desire to protect (?) Vin from having to taste the darker emotions if he can help it (especially if they come from FL).

I just love the idea of a "soft" Vega. Like, he is obviously NOT outwardly soft, but to those he cares about, he does things for them that aren't noticeable at first glance. His love language is definitely acts of service, but just don't say that to his face.

I re-watched Imperium & Cataclysm (along with Avior's playlist) yesterday so I have a lot of feelings.
