Can you do something for me, please?

I want you to reblog this if you believe that two people can be very close and physically affectionate with one another, but still have a completely nonsexual, non-romantic relationship. 

Even if the two people in question are capable of being sexually or romantically attracted to one another. 

Because the friendship I share with someone I consider family in a way that transcends blood has been typecast as a romantic relationship ENTIRELY too many times, and I’m beginning to get sick of it.

YouTube is Closing down ALL family friendly channels

If you haven’t already heard about this, the FTC is planning to remove ALL channels deemed “family friendly” by the end of 2019

What this means is that content creators’ videos will be demonetized (no ads will run on videos, thus no income)

In addition to that, the comments will be disabled, leading to NO interaction between the audience and the creator.

Content creators will either be moved to the YouTube Kids app or will not be supported by the main YouTube overall.

This includes:

Game Theory

Most if not all doll-customization channels

Food channels

Education channels

Art channels

Heck, even gaming channels might get hit by this!

Today, November 20, is the Trans Day of Remembrance, a day to memorialize those who have been murdered as a result of transphobia.

We honor those who found the courage to be true to themselves in the face of transphobia.

Although I am not trans myself, day in and day out, your stories have given me the courage to live life to the fullest and not let adversity and homophobia be my downfall.

Those whose lives were taken shall never be forgotten for they are still among us. They are the very foundation of our community. We are not just a collection of random queer individuals. We have come together with a purpose. There is still a long way to go. We must look up to our trans brothers and sisters who were true to themselves despite being condemned, hated on, and taken away from us, and draw courage from them.

Violence and transphobia will never win. Community, truth, and acceptance shall prevail.

In your footsteps of truth and courage I shall follow. Now and always.

I’m gonna keep this kinda short because I have no energy: I’m Seth. I’m trans, physically and mentally disabled, queer, and kinda starving. if this sounds familiar, it’s because it’s a pretty constant thing in my life by this point. I have surgery next month and I need to be in reasonable shape for that, which includes having something edible on hand, which we don’t. and won’t until the seventh.

on top of our usual shit of being so far below the poverty line it’s hilarious, HUD is charging us an extra $200 because of an error we’re trying to get cleared up, but it doesn’t look like it’ll be cleared up in time for next month’s rent payment. it’s $200 we don’t have, and aren’t sure where to skimp to make it happen.

if anybody can help with either of those, I’d super appreciate it, because my stress level is high and I am two steps from meltdown at any given time. and I’m hungry enough to where the overwhelming feeling of shame of making these posts is overshadowed easily by hunger pangs. I can feel bad about it after I got something to eat.

Wednesday, September 25th: Hello everyone, I’m Gemma and I am quite sure that everyone is beyond tired of seeing my posts by now, and I sincerely apologize to be asking again but, I desperately need help to pay my rent.

As most of you are already aware, I have been struggling financially for quite some time due to my welfare benefits (U.C & Housing Benefit) being revoked, under the UK’s controversial changes to how benefits are assessed and assigned. And due to my mental health and some unfortunate DWP mess-ups, my benefits have been on and off sanctions for over a year now.

And in my previous post, I explained that I was waiting to attend a medical assessment that the DWP had set up for me. I am currently waiting for the results of the assessment, which I am hoping will fix my benefits and offer me more assistance as I am unable to work due to my persistent low mood and extreme fatigue.

The above letter is from my local housing association, and even though the date showing is September 15th, I only received it today and was not aware that I was in rent arrears. My housing association does this quite regularly, they send out letters but put previous dates on them, so that it is the tenants’ fault for not taking immediate action, please read the part where it says that a suitable arrangement must be made within seven days of the letter.

And as you can see from the rent statement, my rent due is £199.96 and since receiving this, I have been trying to arrange some sort of extension or payment - leeway with them as they know that I am waiting for my U.C/Housing benefits to be fully reinstated. An extension on paying this has been declined and I am struggling to find an alternative to paying this balance which is due immediately, and I currently don’t have any finances to help pay it, as I don’t receive any welfare until the end of September which will be just over £128, and that isn’t even enough to cover my rent or other bills.

If anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would literally save my life, and sharing definitely helps just as much as donations. Nobody is obligated in any way to donate if they can’t or don’t want to, I know we’re all struggling.
