Women who want to play Hades. Men who want to play Persephone. Actually disabled actors who likely won't even be Crutchie or Ricky Potts, let alone anyone else. The Leading Player who doesn't have the range in either direction. Jane Doe who isn't a soprano. Adolfo Pirelli who can't do accents. Anyone whose dream roles are from shows where the rights aren't released. I love all of you. Don't let the directors tell you no. You got this <3

ANYWAY, I finally drew him more seriously and I’m really proud of the result!! As someone who finds it hard to make shading and (especially) rendering look alright, I am very much satisfied this time around!

Jon Matteson does not get enough credit for his physical acting skills. In the "Nerdy Prudes Must Die" number when he "levitates" and then crashes to the ground? And in "Let It Out"? He fucking SELLS the emotional impact of those scenes and I'm tired of pretending that he is not one of the best things to happen to modern Starkid. Mariah and Angela definitely deserve their due, but my man is KILLING IT OUT HERE

Okay but..what if the starkid cast went out in costume and performed la de dah dah day in public randomly one day..have them hide amongst the general public and all come out one by one to torment Jon Matteson as Paul.. and then when the song is over they all just disperse back into the crowd silently while Jon runs away in terror. Just a thought.

Not only could it be a sick publicity stunt, it would show us how la de dah dah day actually happened, without the music. And the confused onlookers really taking the cake.
