Hello it's part 3 of battletech and SBG brain rot and its time for my personal favorite character Logan!

What he lacks in pure brawn or confidence, he makes up for with brains and skill. He may be the physically weakest on the team, but he brings a vital role to the team. Simply put, he Is the firepower that they need? Whether he's shooting from afar with Ashlyn's dad's rifle or up close with his pistol, he has skill, and over time, he eventually has the will to pull the trigger every time. the BZK-F3 The Hollander shown below is a 35-ton light machine built around one very obvious system: the deadly Poland Main Model A gauge rifle similar to the autocanon 20 is capable of ripping off limbs and crushing cockpits almost as efficiently, but from more than double the range and for less than half the heat. This is the Hollanders sole weapon system to defend itself with. Built as a tool of defiance against a superior enemy, the Hollander was a symbol of resistance and liberation for its allies and an embarrassing defeat for its enemies. Those who looked down upon humble light machines as mere bugs often met their end to the song of the gauss rifles. hyper sonic Crack Logan is often considered the weakest link of the group; he's one of the first to get injured. He's not as strong as the others, but when it comes down to it, a rifle round rips through everyone the same way, and he's the one pulling the trigger. The Hollander is slow for a light mech, poorly armored for its weight, and does need support, but in the right hands with the right team, it will rip the enemy apart piece by piece, all while its lancemates get to kick apart the torn-up scrap. 

Notes:again another one mostly based on vibes I love Logan so him using one of my favorite mech designs seemed to fit the arts a bit old but it's got buckets of charm hopefully it will be getting a model soon too

SBG and battletech bull shit part 2

Now we're gonna talk about my second favorite creature Aiden "Mr durable" clark

Now Aiden isa difficult choice for me, and depending on how I'm feeling, I may even get a follow-up post on the other machines I almost chose for him. Aiden, in my opinion, isn't particularly fast, strong, or smart. Aiden is three things: brave (or stupid). deadly and spectacularly violent, and all of those fit the HBK-4G, otherwise known as the hunchback pictured below. It's a simple 50-ton machine; a friend once described it 's the closest "thing to"a walking fuck you that you can mass produce. You see that big box on its right shoulder thats housing a Tomodzuru class 20 autocanon, a short-range gun capable of tearing the limbs off most mechs with a single shot, and if it doesn't do that, it might just knock you on your big ig ass. Aiden might be a complex character, but to me, it always seems he likes to kill phantoms with one or two devastating blows and move onto the next target. I believe Aiden would choose the pilot as a hunchback because hunchback pilots are a special breed. They are the kind to run head first at a wall and expect the wall to flinch. They are the kind to see overwhelming odds and smile because you are already here and running away sounds exhausting, and hunchback pilots are the kind to kill anything that gets close to them and theirs and walk over the corpse to the next thing that needs blasting. 

Notes:the hunchback is also armed with two medium lasers one in each arm but I honestly didn't think it was relevant to the character analysis another mech I highly considered was the charger and lastly I know this breakdown was less technical but I have less personal experience with the hunchback as well as mostly going on vibes with this one

I have a habit of mixing my interests, and school bus graveyard and battletech are no different so we're gonna be discussing what mechs the sbg kids would pilot and why

Starting with everyone's favorite creature

Now I'm not the best at character analysis, however, a few major traits Ashlyn has shown are leadership agility and independence, so I decided to choose for her the WVR-6M Wolverine shown below. The Wolverine is a 55-ton medium mech with a max speed of 86 kph and the ability to leap 150 meters. It is certainly agile for its size and function, and adding to its flexibility, it is able to turn 360° around on its Torso, guarding the Wolverine from Flankers for its weapons. The Wolverine carries a large laser, giving it a strong punch against other medium mechs and a deadly one against lights. It backs this up with two medium lasers, one mounted in its arm and one mounted in the head, letting it peel armor off with efficiency. To follow up with its deadly short-range missiles firing from a 6-tube launcher like Ashley, the Wolverine can be overwhelmed if forced into tight situations for too long due to its hot running weapons and jump jets. Finally, the Wolverine is a command machine often used by selfless leaders who dive head first into the thick of combat, willing to put it all on the line for honor, glory, or a paycheck. if you thoughts to share or questions to ask please share!

Notes:the mech pictured is the 3R variant and thusly carries an autocannon in its arm instead of the large laser and doesn't have the arm mounted medium laser

most of the talk on this website about Game Changer is how Sam Reich psychologically tortures his contestants, but I want to make it clear to the uninitiated that he's actually extremely ethical about it

He sends out a company wide email and asks them to choose episodes based on a chili pepper rating system

meaning he doesn't put 🌶️🌶️ people into 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ episodes

they're also big on consent ie cast and crew have to be okay with it before they'll do nudity or something like that in an episode

it's like the bdsm of psychological torture. safe, sane, and consensual.

guy who's stuck in a timeloop for so long he stops wanting to leave it. guy who started out trying to escape but slowly grew used to and became comforted by the familiarity of the repeating day. guy who is no longer who he was before the timeloop. guy who is offered a way out and violently refuses it because he can't leave, doesn't want to leave. guy who escapes the timeloop by chance or force or accident and doesn't know how to live anymore. guy who keeps going through motions that don't match the situation and keeps having conversations that aren't actually occurring. guy who panics every time he realizes he can't predict the next instant. guy who left the timeloop but still lives with it.
