Admittedly, Zhou Zishu is my ride-or-die, and Wen Kexing generally is along for the very fun and compelling ride, but that completely lost look on Wen Kexing’s face after he’s run away and come back in Ep 21, when he comes upon Zhou Zishu and Zhang Chengling and Ye Baiyi around the fire in the woods? And he stands there miserable and lost, just looking at them from outside the light of the fire, and he so clearly wants to be part of this little family more than he’s ever wanted anything in his life? And he just as clearly feels like he doesn’t deserve it and will never really be able to have it?

Was it necessary to come for my life like that, show? Was it really?
