I really am so, so fucking sorry it took me so long to start Hateful. I feel just awful; there's really no excuse, especially when you adored my writing for so long. So far it's every bit as fantastic as I expected; I'll be leaving my evolving thoughts and speculation on each comment as I go through.

A year of waiting, fuck. I just remembered I promised you and jumped onto AO3 quicker than a flicker. I hope to god my idiocy didn't discourage you from your writing.

Oh no worries, you don't owe me anything ;) My progress has been abysmally slow this year anyway. If you get there, I am particularly interested in advice on the giant block of Flippy POV between chapters 9 to 12. It NEEDS to get trimmed. I don't even know how it grew so big! I will break it up a little in chapter 11 eventually (another POV will be added retroactively and some of it will go there), but I'm not sure it will be enough. Any pointers are welcome, of course, so thank you for your time! Have a happy New Year

It's been 84 years. For the handful of you who still have a bit of interest left, here's chapter 13. I'm really sorry about this break, I've been sitting on an almost finished text for like 4 months! In the meantime, I've added some quotes at the end/start of previous chapters as I've realized my alchemical references were way to understated to catch ^^' Now it's very much in your face, but whatever

Note for the future - another POV will be retroactively added at some point. It will not change the events as they've unfolded so far, but I think it might be an interesting perspective to include.

I have a question to those of you who are following my AO3 story. Since updates take so long, I was wondering if it wouldn’t be better to try posting shorter chapters more frequently. I’m not sure it would always pan out and perhaps the whole thing would become more clunky, but I’d like to know you thoughts.
