a compare and contrast for my swap au! [cw for suicidal ideation mention]

• estella is star/shooting star themed, wanted to keep it similar enough to lightning's theme

• she acts fairly similar to lightning when on camera

• not that big on parties compared to lightning but she goes to 'em anyway to keep up appearances

• her indulgence in the LA fast lane lifestyle is her seeking to, at least temporarily, fill that emptiness and she is more aware of the fake and fleeting nature of this lifestyle but participates in it anyway

• recklessness on track majorly comes from a lack of care towards her own safety, sort of a passive suicidal nature, rather than a "win at all costs" mindset

• estella's "if i crash, i crash" vs lightning's "crashes happen shrug emoji"

• her mistreatment of her crew and most people around her stems from distrust compared to lightning's superiority complex

• going off that: it's also what her rude/dismissive behavior towards the RS townies stem from, she doesn't trust the hospitality of the town and clearly they just want her money

• doesn't buy that these townspeople don't know who she is at first until later and that realisation is what leads to her opening up more and her eventual attitude change

• she's more out of it/upset about being found by the press and eventually taken away from radiator springs, feeling like her one shot at something real and steady just slipped away and isn't even in the race

• along with the attitude change, the story's also about her falling in love with racing again, reigniting that passion with the help of louise [doc's swap]

fun six fanart game where i went on the cars wiki, clicked random page 'till i got 6 character pages or pages related to a character i wanted to draw and bam :D really knocked me out of art block and happy with how they all turned out!!

the blank template if anyone so wishes to use it !! no hard rules or anything for this challenge like it doesn't have to be the first six you pull from the random pages and if you get a diecast page with an alt design of the character you dont specifically have to draw 'em as the diecast i just did with storm because it looked cool. just have fun!! i drew this to practice drawing cars i havent before so :D
