Justice for BooksnWriting

For those of you who don’t know. BooksnWriting was banned from ACOTAR character weeks by users that don’t like them.

Character weeks they have spent countless hours creating for and have participated in before. Not only is this not acceptable but they were banned because the people who complained to the admins chose to make false claims because of previous character and story analysis that BooksnWriting has done that they didn’t like.

Not only is this unacceptable behavior but the admins should know better.

BooksnWriting has committed countless hours into creating content across different social media for those with different viewpoints to enjoy. Despite the backlash and bullying they have stood strong and positive. They had even done interviews with the voice actor for Tamlin from the audio series.

If you or anyone else reads this please repost. Spam #freebooksnwriting because the behavior of the admin, the ones that bullied BooksnWriting, and anyone who thinks that banning someone from a character weeks for having a different option should not get away with this.

Is Varian Truly Loyal to Tarquin?

I was always a bit sus of Varian and never quite liked him, there was just something off that I couldn’t explain. Then, while I was talking to a friend about it, she pointed out a detail I had completely missed… and suddenly, everything started falling into place.

While reading ACOSF, I kept feeling… weird about Varian. Specifically, the part where he knows that the Night Court possesses the Dead Trove and keeps that information from Tarquin. This isn’t just a minor omission, it’s a huge piece of magical power and political leverage. And Varian is not just some courtier; he’s the Prince of Adriata, Tarquin’s cousin, and next in line to rule the Summer Court.

At first, I thought maybe it was just sloppy writing or brushed aside for convenience. But then, after that friend reminded me of something from ACOWAR, I went back and re-read the High Lords meeting chapters to find it, and now I can’t unsee it.

Tamlin literally hints at Varian being untrustworthy. In the meeting scene, Tamlin throws shade at the Night Court questioning why they were the only ones to know about the attack on Adriata and implying they wanted to play savior. Then comes this

Now, say what you want about Tamlin, but he wasn’t pulling that accusation out of nowhere. It reads like a direct warning: your cousin might not be as loyal as you think.

(let's not forget that he warned that rhysand migh be playing to be a high king and we all know what is hapening in acosf)

Add to that the fact that:

Varian didn't tell Tarquin about the Night Court having the Trove in ACOSF

The Night Court is allied with Eris and knows about beron and his treachery. Again varian didn't tell Tarquin about that.

Varian is emotionally involved with Amren, who is deeply loyal to Rhysand.

It makes you wonder… is Varian genuinely loyal to Tarquin? Or is he keeping one foot in the Night Court, politically or emotionally, just in case?

I’m not saying Varian is evil or scheming -oh no I am saying- and I do think his loyalty is questionbal, and maybe we’re meant to question it a bit more than we have.

I didn't like tamlin in the first book

Okay so maybe this is the beginning of me writing character posts for everyone (who knows, well if this is the case rhys will be the first for sure 👀),

but I have to talk about Tamlin.

I'll be real, I was sus from the very beginning. I knew Tamlin was hiding something. There was always this feeling that he was holding back, that the version of spring he was showing Feyre wasn’t the full picture. He was too careful. Too curated.

Like… she killed your best friend (and literally skinned him), but then you let her live in your giant manor, bought her paint, and helped her family? That’s not normal behavior. That’s some layered, morally weird behavior for the one supposed killed your friend.

I remember reading it and just yelling mentally:

“Feyre, PLEASE. Just think for two seconds. Something is off with this man. Don’t let the handsome face with golden hair and very hot body cloud your judgment!!”

And yeah, I was influenced by TikTok too. Everyone there was hyping up Rhys and saying Tamlin would be the worst in the next book. So maybe I went in already expecting to hate him. Which is probably why I missed the good he did show.

Then ACOMAF came… And I was waiting. I was waiting to hate him. To catch him doing something unforgivable. But instead? I couldn't but see the opposite TikTok was showing for exp:

The nightmares thing — everyone told me he ignored Feyre’s trauma. But they both had trauma. Feyre literally says there was an unspoken agreement between them to never talk about what happened Under the Mountain. And Tamlin was having his own night terrors, shifting into his beast form just to cope. He was barely holding it together. How can we expect him to show her care and healing when he himself was drowning with no one for him too. She didn’t give him that treatment either. I'm not mocking her trauma what I thought at that moment he had his own issues trauma and expectations from people he didn't have any moment to get down and hold his weakness alone!

The dresses and “belonging to him” thing — I was shocked to realize the maids chose her clothes. He was barely around busy in work. Feyre never said “no,” never complained. She is supposed to be their lady so of course they'll do these thing out of respect especially when she never objected, and again neither tamlin or anyone knew that she hated those dresses.

The infamous line "there’s no such thing as High Lady" scene — TikTok had me fuming before I read it. I was convinced Tamlin was the most misogynistic man ever. But in context? He was stating a fact about history and the magic chosing. He even asked Feyre if she wanted a title. She was the one who said no, that she wasn’t fit to lead. It wasn’t an insult—it was a conversation.

The “locked her in the house” thing — He stopped her from running into a life-threatening battle when she was clearly falling apart. It wasn’t perfect. He handled it wrong. But it wasn’t evil. It was fear. Panic. A deeply broken man trying to protect someone he loved, and failing.

And then ACOWAR came and just… broke me, I don't have to say a lot of things why I loved him so much in this book, I mean these are enough for(there is a lot of reasons and things but these are the most touched my heart)

✨ “I once told you I would fight against tyranny, against that sort of evil. Did you think you were enough to turn me from that?” ✨ Bringing Rhysand back to life. His enemy and the man who took everything from him. And he still said, “Be happy, Feyre.” ✨ That scene with Beron?? Dragging a whole ancient High Lord by the neck in his own court?? Where is my detailed retelling of this moment I NEED IT.

At this point, I couldn't hate him anymore. I could only mourn what he lived and still living… and understand why he is it what he is now.

But let me be clear—I don’t think Tamlin is perfect. He has issues. He's not complete pillar of honesty about many things. He’s secretive about many things. Many things we need to know about him from him, like:

We don't his past with his father and family how it was for him living with siblings who kill him od he show up any flicker of power

We don't his childhood with amarantha lusting after him

We don't what happened to him under the montain, how it was for him

And most important we don’t know the whole story from him about what happened with Rhysand’s mother and sister. The way Rhys tells it is black-and-white. I don’t buy it. Tamlin hasn’t spoken his side yet, and I know there’s more to it.

Maybe that’s why I love him now. Because he’s messy. Flawed. Grieving. Noble in ways people overlook. And I want to know the rest of his story.

Ugh, this is honestly so messed up. You put in so much effort for that week and even getting the VA involved?? That’s huge. I don’t get why some people feel the need to bring this kind of drama into public fandom stuff like, it’s not that deep!! Just let people enjoy things.

It really sucks to see people being excluded over unrelated drama instead of being appreciated for the love they put into their works.

I hope @tamlinweek reconsiders, you absolutely deserve to be part of it 💚

I'd love to not be blocked from character weeks after the fact bc theres people outside the event who have it out for me.

I don't believe people should be gatekeeping other people and public fandom events by complaining to week admins about stuff *outside* the event. That's crazy, IMO.

Esp when I poured my heart and soul into that event and even got the voice actor himself as my friend to participate. There were no issues whatsoever during the event, and I was never messaged about anyone complaining.

I was only blocked sneakily behind my back months later when I've been participating for literal years.

So um. I guess, like and reblog and tag tamlinweek to reverse their decision on blocking me? Idk anything helps, I guess. Thanks ♡♡

The Tragedy of Lady Autumn 🍂

Sometimes I think the fandom forget how truly sad Lady Autumn’s story is.

And no, I’m not just talking about her being forced to live far from her mate or being married to a tyrant who never deserved her.

I’m talking about her children.

She watched her sons grow up into shadows of their father, mirrors of a man who never showed them love, only violence and legacy.

And even when she knew they were going down the wrong path, what mother wants to see her children turn cruel?

What mother wants to watch her children try to kill one another?

Because yes, two of her sons went after Lucien. And no matter how twisted their motives were, they were still her babies.

And Lucien... he had no choice. It was either kill or be killed.

Can you imagine what it does to a mother to know one of her sons died, killed by her youngest, the only one who escaped that toxic legacy?

without forgetting the son Tamlin killed.

We know Tamlin didn’t have a choice, he had to kill him because that son was going to kill Lucien.

But still… that was her son.

No matter how twisted or cruel he became, he was still someone she carried, raised, loved.

Losing a child like that, it leaves a pain that never really goes away.

And for it to happen like that... gods, it’s just heartbreaking.

Lady Autumn’s whole life is a quiet tragedy.

She is away from her mate (still sus about helion btw he's funny yeah but I don't trust him as a partner) and married to a tyrant abusive man

She’s surrounded by sons turning into their father, losing one to exile, two to death, watching the rest grow colder and more distant. (Well maybe she see some hope in eris)

She’s not just a victim of Beron; she’s a mother who’s been grieving alone for years.

And that just makes me really sad.

I don't think thar he was just more charismatic and deceptive about it.

There isn't any difference but feyre chosen to see it differently, she is in the very same condition (maybe worse bc she is literally kidnapped and in a place like UTM) and suddenly she is okay with it ??

Anyone else just now realize how when Feyre was taken by Rhys, he literally told her that the house was warded and only certain people could come in and out (namely Mor, Rhys, etc.) but that she was “safe”?

Like, is that not the same exact circumstances she was in with Tamlin’s manor (warded as all hell, only he and Lucien could walk in and out, being left in there for her own protection etc)

And let’s not forget the damn force field he locked on her when she was pregnant, enough that Cassian couldn’t even give her a kiss.

Rhys isolated and controlled Feyre’s perception about the world just as much as Tamlin did, he was just more charismatic and deceptive about it. And that’s insidious as fuck, and Feyre fell for it hook line and sinker.

in ACOWAR when Feyre was in trouble at winter court Rhysand was able to send help because he felt it through the mating bond. But when his mother and sister was in trouble in his very own court what his father from whom he definitely gets his daemati magic from couldn't sense his mate was in trouble? And for someone who managed to walk into Illyrian woods and kill Rhysand's family they died pretty easily in the manor. I don't but one second of this bullshit story that got cooked up in ACOMAF.

You can’t convince me that Geralt of Rivia isn’t the live-action embodiment of Tamlin. Every time I see him brooding, tired, half-feral but deep down so full of loyalty and pain I think, yeah. That’s him. That’s Tamlin.

Same stoic mask. Same stubborn silence. Same "please leave me alone but I’ll bleed for you if you need me" energy. Yes, yes, I know Geralt has white hair and Tamlin’s supposed to have golden-blond curls and green eyes... But honestly? I’ll allow it. The vibe is there. The weight of love and guilt is there.

And gods Tamlin needs his Jaskier!!!!!!! Someone annoying, loud, chaotic, loyal to the bone. Someone who stays even when Tamlin tries to push everyone away.

I wanted that to be Lucien, I really did. But Lucien made his choice. He has a new path now, maybe even a new throne waiting for him at the Day Court.

And don’t even get me started on Yennefer—she is Rhysand’s sister in live-action form. Black hair, violet eyes, golden skin, raw untamed power... it’s all there.

But more than that, the way she is with Geralt? That sharp, stormy love. The kind that's passionate, broken, unfinished. The way they fight, care, push each other away but still reach back— It feels exactly like the energy I imagine between Tamlin and Rhys’s sister. A love that once burned bright and left behind only ashes. Something powerful and tragic.

Tamlin’s Real Beast Form: A Phoenix?

Okay, so this is pure dellulu theory, born from my obsession with spring, rebirth, and mythical symbolism. But hear me out.

Tamlin is a shapeshifter, but the only form we’ve seen him use is that lion-bear-wolf hybrid that supposed to be his high lord beast form.

While impressive, that might not be his true High Lord beast form—just the one he chooses or inherited.

The Spring Court represents rebirth, growth, and healing. And when we think of mythical creatures tied to those themes, one stands out:

The Phoenix 🐦‍🔥.

A phoenix dies in fire and is reborn from its ashes, a perfect symbol for the cycle of spring.

It also has healing flames (based on Marco character from one piece), and while healing isn’t a known power of the Spring Court, Tamlin has demonstrated strong healing abilities (when he said he could’ve healed the blue-winged fae if he had his full power).

This aligns more with symbolic magic—the kind we see in other courts like Dawn except Tamlin is spring fae.

So it’s possible his true beast form reflects that magic too: not predatory strength, but regenerative power.

Now, consider this in the bigger picture:

If Tamlin's true form is a phoenix, that could be crucial in the war against Koschei, the god of death.

Rebirth vs. decay.

Fire vs. rot.

Life vs. death.

It’s not just about power, it’s about balance.

I live for the headcanon where Tamlin ends up being a second father figure to Nyx.

Like imagine future Nyx running off to the Spring Court for “Spring Sake” because he's needed there or whatever, and Rhysand storms in like:
