i'm torn between two concepts of incorporating Tenna to the story but then I remembered I'm free and can draw whatever the hell i want

I try not to stray too far from soot boi but I've always had a soft spot for tiny characters, big adventures and also moths haha

our little moth Spamton doesn't have a place to sleep during the day because the butterfly Addisons kicked him out and since he can't fly properly and is nocturnal, it's harder to find a safe place to sleep during the day.

I've always been a big fan of bugs owning a nightclub, (thumbelina's beetle ball etc) so maybe Tenna owns a theatre? He comes across Spamton and "sees" him with his antennae, deciding what to do with him. New pet??? hehe

ooo this is fun...like I said, this story was basically all plotted out before chapter 2 since it was kind of a mix of Deltarune, Undertale and fantasy Ghibli inspired stuff. BUT! Its fun trying to fit in some new things in... there's one point in the story where Kris manages to piss off some fairies and they temporarily turn Kris into a soot sprite.

Hijinks ensue. Eventually, they would poke and prod at Ralsei's "amateur" sewing skills and try to steal his clothes or just be generally mean to them. (until soot boi makes a big magic boom)

The Addisons would be perfect for the fairies. Mean, vain little things. So naturally, where would Spamton fit? I love the idea that he originally is a fairy like them, but with silk moth wings instead of the colourful butterfly wings the Addisons possess.

Since he's based off of a domestic silk moth, he can't fly very far, if at all, has lost all coloration and the Addisons are mean to him about it.

It can tie in with the main story too, the Wizard (Gaster) who is looking over the dwindling power of the Dark Fountain, is seeking out an ember, a cinder (psst its Ralsei). He can't leave his castle/tower and throughout the land there's still old magic in ruins and artifacts connected to this Dark Fountain, where he could possible see if this ember ever appears. Maybe Spamton comes across one of these shadow crystals one day and shares his woes with this mysterious man inside the crystal. The Wizard decides to grant Spamton what he wants the most, and in exchange, is instructed to look for this special ember, this rare cinder and keep an eye on it, to 'become a guardian angel' he says.

Spamton takes it very seriously, yepyep.
