May I present the beast manifestation of the Moon Okay so normally unicorns would be associated with the moon in the magical creature department but given that DK is very harsh, moon magic can be so brutally violent yet elegant at the same time, matches with all the ravens and the other perfect areas with symbolism I just couldn't pass up going on with the griffin idea. Nothing more than a drawing to appreciate my boy, because this dork is still so much my favorite and comfort character and I felt the urge to draw him happy. 🤗 Not even kidding, when writing, I tend to write from his perspective more, because I feel like I can relate to him even better than Lashanie–my own OC. ówo Which is kinda funny, but also makes sense, ig. I often say I created Lashanie as someone I'd like to be friends with. So I gave Varian the kind of friend I wish I would have had back when I went through a lot of bad stuff. . . Anyway, enough of my oversharing.

Varian is a good character and I had a good time drawing this, and I hope you'll have the same, looking at it. 💕😉

Happy birthday Varian! As a gift he get a drawing of an event that happened on Rapunzels birthday!!

This piece is a horribly failed lighting-study-turned full piece done in the beginning of 2024 and edited to look less garbage last night. This one is a mixed bag for me because some spots look really nice while others.... no editing can ever fix that foreshortening I'm afraid. This one is very pattern and textured oriented. This is the first time I actually tested the patterns on some loose leaf!
