6 ways to be the main character of your life 🦢

here are 6 powerful ways to step into your own power and embody your story's lead :
define your narrative. every main character has a story line, what's yours? you can figure this out by defining your core values and personal aspirations. i recommend keeping a diary/journal to narrate your life like the main characters, bella swan, elena gilbert, susana kaysen, carrie bradshaw. write your days and name them like episodes in a tv show. listen to your heart and write out your daily feelings, thoughts, and what's happening in your daily life.
embrace your aesthetic. the main character always has a signature style, whether it's how they dress, their habits, or the energy they carry. create your surroundings, wardrobe, and mindset in a way that reflects who you truly are. think of an aesthetic you feel drawn to and add your own personality and dreams to it.
romanticize every day. find magic in the little moments. whether it's sipping tea in the morning out of a cute teacup, walking through the forest, adding flower petals and bubbles to your bath, journal under the moonlight, immerse yourself in every moment like it's a scene in a beautifully written novel. i recommend putting together the ideal morning and night routine to romanticize your life, i will make future blogs on these. 😊
overcome challenges like a protagonist. main characters face obstacles, but they evolve because of them. IT'S ALL FOR THE PLOT. shift your perspective from victim to hero, approach challenges as character development opportunities. take on each day as your best self.
have a strong supporting cast. no great story is complete without amazing supporting characters. surround yourself with people who uplift you, challenge you, and add meaningful experiences to your journey. choose great friends, be kind to strangers, let life flow when it comes to love.
manifest your dream reality. instead of waiting for life to happen, take control by visualizing and manifesting your dream life. act like the person you want to become, dress the part, make playlists for different occasions. think of the highest version of yourself.. what does their daily habits look like? what type of boundaries would they set? write that down and adapt that personality. repeat daily 'I AM' affirmations.
remember that YOU ARE THE ART. be the muse that you dream about and see on tv. begin by seeing yourself differently and inspire yourself. you were always the masterpiece.. you just forgot to look in the mirror.

Imagine Chimney going through Bobby's desk in his office. Having to clear personal things out. It breaks his heart, but also warms him because the captain was sentimental.
Then he comes across a small blue book labeled simply "Buck." Curious, he opens and flips through it.
Kid has eating problems. Will forget to eat when stressed. Feed him, and encourage him to cook, because he likes to taste-test a lot.
Chimney remembers that. Buck mentioning getting so hungry the starving pains go away. He does remember during the shitty times when Buck lost so much weight.
-Loves carbs
-Hates Okra
-Probably allergic to shellfish and mangos. Encourage him to get an allergy test
-Allergic to Naproxen
-Allergic to heavy fragrance laundry detergents. Use gentle.
-Remind him he's doing a great job. Use positive reinforcement.
-If he's depressed, as Maddie says, hand him a child. May and Harry work too.
-He's finally gaining weight! :)
-The Buckley parents are banned. Do not ask why. Firehouse is his safe area.
-He fidgets when he's stressed. Have him chop some vegetables or prepare them for you. He loves being helpful.
-He loves his clipboard. Have him organize important events. Give him gold stars. Do not let Hen and Chimney hide it. He gets sad.
-Remind him not to read too close or in the dark. He's gonna need glasses at this point. (If he does, don't let others tease him. Tell him he looks great)
-He doesn't admit it, but his leg still bothers him. Heating blankets are in the closet in the office. Have Eddie massage his leg or send him home early if he's obviously struggling.
Chim laughs. He laughs, and laughs, and starts to cry. Of all things, he did not expect to find a "How to Take Care of Your Buck" guide hidden away in Bobby's desk.

an angels guide: my ideal summer morning routine ˚ʚɞ。⋆
hi angels! it’s finally starting to feel like summer, my exams are almost done and the suns shining practically everyday. summer is the perfect time of year to work on yourself, the days are longer, it’s easier to be outside and everything feels so much brighter and more optimistic. with that in mind here is my ideal summer routine! for me this is perfect when i have the time and energy - not every day looks like this but i try and incorporate aspects of this routine as much as possible when time doesn’t permit me to do the entire thing. hopefully it gives you some inspiration and guidance for your own routine!

wake up and open the curtains and my windows. let as much natural light in and feel the warmth of the day on my skin.
drink a glass of water as i sit and look outside, do some deep breathing and feel the possibilities in this new day.
do five to ten minutes of yoga and stretching (id be happy to do a list of my favourite youtubers/routines!).
do ten minutes of gentle pilates, just to help me feel more awake and ready for the day. getting my body moving first thing helps me feel so alive.
make my bed and tidy anything in my room that’s messy or needs sorting. dress in something cute and summery that helps me feel prepared for the day ahead. i love to wear jewellery or little accessories even when i dont have much planned just to remind myself that every day is special.
brush my teeth and gently wash my face with some cool water to help depuff it and wake me up.
pick my book of the day - especially in the summer when i have more time for pleasure reading i like to read a book a day!
make a delicious summer breakfast. my favourites tend to be a yogurt bowl with fruits, coconut and almond flakes and puffed oats, chia seed pudding/overnight oats or a beautiful smoothie bowl. i aim for at least five different fruits/veggies in summer, i want my breakfasts to be as varied and colourful as possible while being wonderfully nutritious! if possible i eat my meals outside in the summer especially first thing.
fill up my water bottle and make a cup of herbal tea. i always drink tea after eating to help me digest and for all the other benefits. my favourites in the summer tend to be either a green tea, a raspberry hibiscus and strawberry tea (my current fave) or a peach tea!
clean teeth again, mouthwash and use my water flosser to help my mouth feel as clean as possible.
do skincare and bodycare. i use a thick lotion on my body twice a day, wait a little then spray perfume as well as applying suncream on my face always and on my body depending on the UV/my activities for the day.
spend fifteen or twenty minutes journalling and using my hands to write down my feelings, mood or any other journal prompt.
read a little of my book, try and be as thoughtful as possible and really absorb the meaning. treasure what a gift literature is.
go on a little walk! i like to aim for twenty minutes, just something short and brief but allows me to spend some time outside and really moving my body.
do something with my hands. bake something, write something, craft something, anything that requires me to focus and engage in a hobby. im always in the process of creating something and im guilty of having hundreds of half finished projects - hoping to finish some this summer!
prepare and plan for the day ahead. write my to do list, organise things with friends or for myself and get ready to enjoy the rest of my day having spent a delightful summer morning caring for my body and soul.

The 6 Month Project

the concept of 'glowing up,' is a popular one. a simple idea that you can change yourself, and be more attractive. and now i can't pretend that the idea of 3 month, 2 months and 1 week glow ups haven't motivated me. of course, there's some truth in drinking 2 litres of water and sleeping 8 hours, that brings a change to your life. but i want to focus on something bigger, more than just simply appearance. i want to turn my life around and be me again. so this is my plan for the 6 month project.
step 1) establish goals
whilst i'm sure that success is possible without absolute direction, i'm not willing to risk my chances. therefore the first good step to any project, is to establish the goals or what i want by the end of these 6 months.
to make everything absolutely organized i split all my goals into 7 areas:
physical health (this refers to diet, sleep, exercise)
image (skincare, haircare, style, makeup, etc.)
finances/current career
future career (networking, becoming a linkedin warrior, etc.)
hobbies
intelligence (any sort of learning, or hobbies that push me further)
mental health (coping mechanisms, general wellbeing, managing stress)
step 2) research
this step, i'd argue is the most time consuming. for every goal, i did a bit of research to fully understand how i could achieve it. for example, for the 'physical health' goals, i researched how to sleep better and how to eat a more balanced diet. or for 'image,' i researched skincare and different styles to figure out which one fits me. although, this can be done in extreme detail, i've tried to not use this step as a tool to procrastinate actually getting started
step 3) make a timeline
to make sure that i stayed on track with all my goals, and due to the sheer amount of steps/goals i made a timeline. as to not overwhelm myself, i decided on picking up around 4/5 habits everyday, cutting out 3 negative things and doing one off changes (mostly to appearance) once a week.
step 4) start
with nothing else left to plan or prepare, simply start.
