I know I just reblogged a post about this but I have OPINIONS

Why is 'why not' not an acceptable reason for a character to be queer? A character can be trans just because they are. Someone can be gay just because they are even if there is no romantic interest. A character can be bi even if they've never had a crush or have only ever been interested in one gender, just because they're bi. A character can be ace in a romance story because they're ace.

If a character can be cishet for no reason they can be any other gender or sexuality for no reason

People aren't LGBTQ+ for a reason. They just are. Fucking deal with it

Well out of the blue I just remembered today the time I accidentally joined the cast of a production of The Princess Bride….in the middle of the production.

happy new year you funky little people!

a lot of other writers are posting recaps of what they wrote this year, so before i go do that on my official writeblr i thought i’d do that with my fics here!

so i wrote a great deal on There’s Nothing Like Summer In The City this year, which recently celebrated its one-year anniversary on ao3. yes it’s a hamilton fic in the year of our lord almost 2022, but i got emotionally attached to the main character so now there’s 35k words of transgenderism, communism, and homosexuality-ism

another fic i‘m working on was under the anonymous collection for a long while, but i’m genuinely proud of this fic so i just moved it over to my account today - it’s called give me back my heart you wingless thing. if you’ve ever wanted to read an incredibly gay phantom of the opera fic with too much historical detail and a very pretty boy, it’s got about 8.5k words so far and it’s being updated

there’s also a 1k les mis oneshot called and like flowers, the bodies tumble which was also anonymous for a while but also just got moved over. it’s sad.
