Aldi Brand {Barissimo Coffee} Latte Flavored Cold Brew with Almond Milk

Appearance: 9/10, looks like coffee. Very thick coffee.

Taste: 7/10. It’s interesting? It doesn’t really taste like coffee at all. To be honest it kind of tastes like communion bread.

Texture: 10/10 very smooth

Smell: 8/10 smells sugar and communion bread. If that’s the smell you’re going for then it would get a 10. But since it’s cold brew it gets an 8.

Comparison to name brand: A fair 8/10. I’ve never had any other store-bought could brew, and I’m not very familiar with almond milk, but I bet it doesn’t taste like catholic church.

overall: 8.5/10

If the pope was a store bought cold brew, he would be this one.

Would probably buy again.

Aldi Brand {Wicked Grove} Hard Cider

Appearance: 8/10 Doesn’t look bad, but is pretty pale compared to other ciders

Taste: 9.5/10 It tastes just applesauce... if you don’t like the taste of beer, it’s perfect

Texture: 10/10 Pretty bubbly but small bubbles

Smell: 9.5/10 Not as strong of a cider smell, but it’s okay

Comparison to name brand: {Angry Orchard} 10/10 vs. {Aldi Brand Overall} 9.25/10

If Isaac Newton was an apple cider he’d be this one because hes is bubbly and loves apples.

Would buy again!

Aldi Brand {Baker’s Corner} Ultimate Bars

Appearance: 10/10 Look good, just like the box

Taste: 10/10 Aldi doing her best. Yum Yum. Pretty much taste like only brownie though. But like, I like it.

Texture: 10/10 Gooey and Good

Smell: 10/10 Smells like ti should. She good tho

Comparison to name brand: {Betty Crocker} 10/10 vs. {Aldi Brand Overall} 10/10

If The Rock was an Ultimate Bar he’d be this one because hes ultimate and he’s got a soft side.

Aldi Brand {Savoritz} Penguins Baked

Appearance: 11/10 ADORABLE, aesthetically pleasing, and just soo cute with those little brown bellies and the bag has an easy close tab!!!!!

Taste: 9/10 We had different opinions of 7.5 and 10 so we chose a happy middle. More authentically cheesy than a cheese cracker, sweet

Texture: 10/10 Just like a cracker should be

Smell: 10/10 Typical cheesy smells

Comparison to name brand: {Goldfish} 8/10 vs. {Aldi Brand Overall} 10/10

If Will Smith was a penguin shaped cracker he’d be these.

I would like to send a suggestion. Try the cheddar penguins. DO NOT go into the experiment by expecting them to taste like goldfish, they do not. It’s more of a sharp/4-cheese type of flavor. A cousin to the goldfish. The more distinguished, has an apartment on the upper east side, and drinks wine at family dinners that no one can pronounce kinda cousin. Personally I prefer them over goldfish. 10/10 have repurchased multiple times. As in I have eaten the entire bag in one sitting. 🐧

we will try to get them sometime soon. I have seen them at our local aldi, but I’ll check again soon

Aldi Brand {Deutsche Kuche} German Bean Soup

Appearance: 11/10 it looks EXACTLY like the can

Taste: 5/10 LIt’s so earthy it makes me want to lay down in the forest. I feel like a legume farmer in the 1900s. Like you gotta keep it hot otherwise it’s nasty

Texture: 4/10 Slimy texture and just a FUCK TON OF BEANS

Smell: 6/10 Smells like it’s got some bacon thing going on, maybe a hint of southern barbecue and a dash of Germany

Comparison to name brand: {???} N/A vs. {Aldi Brand Overall} 6.5/10

If Dirty Chris Pratt from Jurassic Park was a soup he’d be this one.

Aldi Brand {Pueblo Lindo} Taquitos -- Chile & Lime

Appearance: 10/10 Looks like whats on the bag. So far so good (some are slightly unrolled, but nobody’s perfect)

Taste: 9/10 Like the real stuff, but she got some extra tortilla taste

Texture: 10/10 Like a rolled up tortilla chip. Just like it should be

Smell: 5/10 Like a good smell, but with a hint of play-doh

Comparison to name brand: {Takis} 10/10 vs. {Aldi Brand Overall} 8.5/10

If Bruno Mars was a chip he’d be this one.

Aldi Brand {Summit} Cola

Appearance: 10/10 As brown as Coke can get.

Taste: 10/10 Slightly stronger than Coke.

Texture: 10/10 Smaller bubbles, but like still really nice

Smell: 11/10 She gets extra credit for her stronger than Coke smell. Yay!

Comparison to name brand: {Coca Cola} 10/10 vs. {Aldi Brand Overall} 10/10 (with extra credit)

If Gavin DeGraw was a soda he’d be this one because he looks like he would have a strong Coca-Cola smell.

Aldi Brand {Little Salad Bar} Roasted Garlic Hummus

Appearance: 10/10 As hummusy as it gets

Taste: 10/10 Tastes like a fine-ass hummus.

Texture: 10/10 Like hummus

Smell: 10/10 Has that nice roasted garlic smell that kinda makes you want to cry, but also reminds you of who you are. 

Comparison to name brand: {Sabra} 10/10 vs. {Aldi Brand Overall} 10/10

If John Stamos was hummus he’d be this cause both are fine and smooth with that sexy Mediterranean flavor.

I’d buy it again... and the hummus too.

Aldi Brand {Specially Selected} Sea Salt Pita Chips

Appearance: 9/10 Looks like image on bag, but honestly look like pita pillows that broken in half. It’s a very sad looking pillow.

Taste: 9/10 Taste like a pita. Some nice salt on the outside. Not too salty, but keep a drink near by.

Texture: 10/10 Pita chip texture. It’s as simple as that.

Smell: 8/10 Could use a little more smell, but overall has some bread-like smells.

Comparison to name brand: {Stacy’s} 10/10 vs. {Aldi Brand Overall} 9/10

If Jennifer Aniston (post-friends) was a chip, she’s be these little pita chips.

If I’m at Aldi craving some hummus, I’d buy again.

Aldi Brand {Happy Farms Preferred} Sheep’s Milk Cheese

Appearance: 10/10 Looks like cheese. You know as cheesy as it can get.

Taste: 10/10 Cheese flavor is there for sure.

Texture: 10/10 Very Creamy, like yay, yummy cheese

Smell: 9/10 Smells like cheese, but I guess it depends on the cheese you’ve been smelling.

Comparison to name brand: {Other Sheep Cheeses} 6/10 vs. {Aldi Brand Overall} 9.5/10

*DISCLAIMER* One tester had her insides destroyed, but they may be sheep’s milk intolerante, if thats even a thing. So be careful, but like it’s good stuff.

If celebrities who have endorsed Pepto-Bismal were some cheese, this would be it.

Due to health reasons, probably wouldn’t buy again.

Aldi Brand {Clancy’s} Ranch Flavored Tortilla Chips

Appearance: 10/10 Looks like a Dorito chip

Taste: 10/10 Mild cool ranch dorito taste, like she took a much needed vacation. Still good though.

Texture: 10/10 Chip-Like texture. Good Job Clancy’s!

Smell: 8/10 Smells more like a tortilla chip than a dorito, but honestly who smells doritos?

Comparison to name brand: {Doritos Cool Ranch} 10/10 vs. {Aldi Brand Overall} 9.5/10

If Kourtney Kardashian was a chip, she’s be honored to be this Clancy’s Chip.

Aldi Brand {Specially Selected} -Torino- Double Chocolate Cookies

Appearance: 9.9/10 (cause nothing is perf) Very chocolately, looks like photo on box surprisingly well

Taste: 2.5/10 Tastes how a bread-shop smells (not in a good way). There’s a slight fruity twang in the cookie. Chocolate flavor only appears at the end and with the nasty bread/blueberry bagel taste it already too late.

Texture: 9/10 Similar to Milano, but you know, just not perfect

Smell: 8/10 good smell, but an overpowering chocolate smell. No cookie smell whatsoever

Comparison to name brand: {Pepperidge Farms Milano Cookies} 10/10 vs. {Aldi Brand Overall} 7.35/10

If Tom Bergeron were a cookie, this would be it.

Would  never spend money on this again!

Aldi Brand {Friendly Farms} French Vanilla Non-Dairy Coffee Creamer

Appearance: 9/10 Looks like a creamer, but you know, nothing can be perfect

Taste: Lucky Charms flavor: 10/10 NAILED IT!!! But for French Vanilla: 3/10 Like you can slightly find the vanilla flavor amongst the LUCKY CHARMS

Texture: 10/10 Silky like cream

Smell: 1/10 Smells like Lucky Charms, or the milk left behind when eatring the cereal, but a better texture.

Comparison to name brand: {Coffee Mate} 9/10 vs. {Aldi Brand Overall} 5.75/10

If the Lucky Charms Leprechaun were a creamer, this would be it.

Aldi Brand {Simply Nature} Green Pea Crisps

Appearance: 4/10 Doesn’t look like green peas, but hey, at least they’re green

Taste: 3.5/10 Slight pea flavor (like literal piss), but mostly Styrofoam

Texture: 10/10 Perfect Crisp

Smell: 1/10 No smell whatsoever, but a 1 for effort

Comparison to name brand: {Mariano’s} 9/10 vs. {Aldi Brand Overall} 4.6/10

If Sheryl Crow and Bill Clinton had a baby, this would be it.

Would definitely not buy again.

Aldi Brand Sun Rice Milk Chocolate with Puffed Rice

Appearance: 7/10 Looks like a chocolate bar, but lacking chocolate on the bottom

Taste: 8/10 Good chocolate to rice ratio, not too sweet, not tooo ricey

Texture: 5.5/10 Slightly hard to bite, but soft and crunchy rice. Smooth chocolate and nice riciness.

Smell: 8/10 Mildly smells like chocolate

Comparison to name brand: {Crunch} 4/10 vs. {Aldi Brand Overall} 7.1/10

If Roseanne Barr was a candy bar, this would be it.
