I wouldn’t mind sharing you sweets, though-- in fact, I probably am in some different plane! Just not this one; I don’t have any sweets on me right now. But I would share them if I did.

[Well, this is new-- someone knows her name before she even has a chance to introduce herself. Not that she figures this to be a bad thing-- she should be known, after all. Still, it’s... strange.]

They’ve been interesting I guess-- but they’ve always been interesting! And I’ve been running into people a bit more than usual-- though they usually don’t have my name right off the bat! Have we met before? I mean, of course we’ve met before, we’ve all met as tiny particles in the air, but not in this sense where I have a name and everything-- so, like, have we?

You know, I’m wondering if us meeting’s supposed to be, like, some circumstance of fate– it’s not like I have much of an active social life! You’d think the concept of space would, like, be around everywhere talking to everyone, but no one seems to care about things like that… or maybe I’m just everywhere a lot that people just see me as part of the background at this point?

But I do give you permission to stay, in any case! I mean, if some otherworldly force brought us to meet in the first place, I’m pretty sure that force at least has some manners– wait, what am I saying! We’re meeting ‘cause I wanted us to meet, that explains it! It can’t be anything else, can it?

Among other things, ownership and statehood both require that the right people take notice. If Iran doesn’t recognize the existence of your nation-state, oh well. If the United Nations acknowledges another nation-state is in the same physical space as yours—and deserves to be treated as such—you’ve got some problems. Likewise if you want to sell real estate on the Moon, all you really need is people to buy lunar lots from you, and you own the Moon as much as you need to.

We've already met long ago! Though not in this physical sort of sense, I mean I've always existed up there, and just recently I came down here, but you've always known me since you first glanced up at the sky! If it helps I never met you physically myself, but! I know you're someone, so that's something!
