Announcing Simon's Week 2025, 25 July to 1 August!

For Simon's birthday this year we're celebrating with music themed prompts - specifically, Omar Rudberg songs!

To participate, create (or finish) something new inspired by one of the below prompts and post on the appropriate day. Can be any kind of fanwork - fics, art, GIFs, edits or anything else you want! - and any theme/relationship(s)/characters as long as Simon is the main focus.

As always, you can be inspired by the prompt however you want; whether it's the whole song, the title, a single lyric, the video or artwork, or even just the vibe. If none of these songs inspire you, the final day of the week is a free day where you can post something inspired by any music you choose (not just Omar's!).

At this point in s3, I no longer care if it ends happily or even with some satisfying conclusion. Sara self-sabotaging and punishing herself by sending herself to stay with her dad who she hates, tolerating him enough to let him take her for driving practice and actually having fun with him, and their entire heart-to-heart where he opens up about how guilt and shame caused him to isolate— as a way to encourage her to not make his mistakes but inadvertently giving her something she can relate to and understand why he was a shitty absent dad— while she gets the chance to be vulnerable and express her fears about the diagnoses she inherited from him, was a story arc that I did not expect but wholly adored. A total standout for the entire series and really solidified Sara as one of my favorite characters of all time.
