http://www.nfpa.org/Public-Education/By-topic/Seasonal-fires/Grilling
Barbecuing or grilling outdoors this summer tops the list of fun ways for families to eat dinner together, according to a survey from the Propane Education & Research Council. And almost two-thirds of Americans say that a barbecue or cookout is their favorite way to entertain-or be entertained-during the summer months. But only one in three adults say they know enough about basic safe grilling tips. To help the 74 million “barbecue households" in the United States enjoy a safe and healthy summer season, the propane industry teamed up with best-selling author and grilling expert Steven Raichlen to release its top-ten tips on grilling safely with propane gas: Top 10 grilling safety tips 1. When the cylinder is refilled, have the supplier check for dents, damage, rust or leaks. 2. After filling or exchanging, take the cylinder home immediately. Keep the vehicle ventilated and the cylinder valve closed and capped. 3. Always use or store cylinders outdoors in an upright (vertical) position. Do not use, store or transport cylinders near high temperatures (this includes storing spare cylinders near the grill). 4. Never leave the grill unattended. Always follow grill manufacturer's instructions on lighting the grill and make sure the grill top is open when attempting to light the grill. 5. Before connecting or lighting a propane gas grill, use a leak-detection solution to check connections for tightness. Do not use matches or lighters to check for leaks. 6. If you suspect a gas leak, and are able to safely turn off the gas supply valve, do so immediately and call the fire department. 7. Do not allow children to tamper or play with the cylinder or grill. 8. Do not smoke while handling a propane cylinder. 9. Never pour an accelerant such as lighter fluid or gasoline on the grill. 10. My take on the Memphis Grills Elite 39-Inch Pellet Grill on Cart - A Grill on Wheels
Being someone who loves barbecuing, I always feel myself interested in learning about barbecue related gear and equipment available on the market. Well, we are lucky as in this age of technology we have some brilliant stuff around us and today am going to review Memphis Grills Elite 39-Inch Pellet Grill on Cart. It’s an innovative machine with a lot of power and incredible features. For sure – the design elements of this grill are such that this device is capable enough to preserve the natural taste and charisma of food being cooked with it. Let us talk a bit about the best features this grill have to offer!
A Grill on Wheels – ideal when you want to have it done outdoor!
What one of the biggest advantage this grill from Memphis Grills has to offer is its ability to be moved freely. What a value-added feature! Well, I am not against fixed grill models, but a grill that can be moved effortlessly can bring the additional fun. For us- the barbeque lovers, rolling grills always come with more charm and attraction. Don’t worry about, each of the wheels installed on this grill are provided with stoppers. Thus, it’s not going to slip away…. This feature makes this grill an ideal one for outside barbeques.
Cook “on-line.” While you Chat…
Well, am not joking… the grill we are talking about is made smart enough to be controlled remotely via Wi-Fi connectivity. It sounds a bit weird, but it’s done so to be like this. Get the Memphis Grill application installed on your phone and that’s all. Several options can be used for remote cooking, controlling and monitoring of the stuff in the process of becoming a yummy food. The concept of Wi-Fi enabled grills are prevailing. However, I have not seen its practical implementation in grills from various vendors. This unit – the VG0002S is much better than the ones we have on the market from Memphis competitors.
A Grill Made with Grill Grade Stainless Steel
Many don’t know much about the importance of the metallurgy used in the manufacturing of their cooking accessories and equipment. Let me tell you – it’s a fundamental characteristic and you should double-check the material of construction before placing an order finally. The VG0002S from Memphis is a fantastic choice when we check it in perspective of the metallurgy. After all, it is made with heavy duty 304 stainless steel. Not only is his, but the internal functional elements of this grill are also designed with the most appropriate materials available today.
Intelligent Temperature Controller
Here come another brilliant features! The digital temperature controller mounted on the grill. I always remained a critique over the complications we usually find in stuff like control mechanisms etc. however, I don’t have any point to raise here. The grill mount controller comes with a relatively large digital display and easy to use soft keys. It also allows you to interact with your grill more efficiently as there are several features on this grill that can be controlled and accessed employing its controller.
Finally…
This grill, the VG0002S is an ideal choice for barbeque lovers who prefer doing it outdoor usually and indoor occasionally. This machine comes with several innovative design characteristics, is fairly easy to be used and is available at a sustainable price. So – go for it in case if you planning to bring a quality grill home with some degree of automation.

Stainless Steel Gas Grills - Facts, Myths
Stainless steel gas grills are a wonderful piece of equipment for the summer months when it is pleasant to play and cook outdoors. Gas grills can be made portable with a fuel gas canister (propane is used generally) or can also be placed permanently with a propane or methane (natural gas) hookup. Moreover they are easier to clean comparatively than other type of grills and usually have a hinged hood. They are heated by a gas fired burner that heats ceramic briquettes or lava rocks.

I personally have been using stainless steel grills from Memphis Grills - believe me they are great and getting better with the passage of time. Now, they are available with WI-FI controls as well.
Before you start using your stainless steel gas grill make sure the gas connections are tight. You can test the amount of gas in the canister by pouring a cup of boiling water over it. The tank will remain cool to the level of the gas. If you have a higher end model, it will have controls that ignite the burners. Some lower-end models require you to use a flame. Be sure to use a long lighter made for this purpose. Close the lid and wait for the grill to heat to the required temperature for the food you are cooking. Be careful not to overheat as this will cause discoloring or the hood.

It is better to clean your stainless steel gas grill each time you use it. Stainless steel can discolor and even rust, depending on the quality of stainless steel, the way it is cleaned and the proper use of heat. If it gets over heated too often, it will discolor so it is best to keep the temperature at the level needed for the item being cooked. Some things need a low temperature for a long time and some need a high temperature for a short time. Sometimes it is a good idea to cook the long term items first then turn it up high for the short term items. If you leave the lid open while the grill is cooling down you can minimize the discoloration but even the most expensive grills will eventually discolor a little.
Stainless steel will scratch so when cleaning only use a very soft cloth or towel. The grill can be cleaned with warm water and mild liquid dish soap. It should be carefully rinsed with plain water after cleaning and thoroughly dried. Then sprayed with a glass cleaner anywhere there are spots or fingerprints and wipe with a paper towel. Commercial stainless steel cleaner will give the same polish as the glass cleaner.
The instructions for the gas grill may say it is self-cleaning and there will be a setting for cleaning. This is just to burn off any residue from the grate. It is not sufficient cleaning and the pan in the bottom needs to be cleaned out too. After the residue has been burned off, use a wire grill brush to scrub the grate. Some brushes have a scraper on one side and the grate can be cleaned with either side. This is the minimum that should be done but you can also scrub the grate with steel wool and soapy water with light pressure. Rinse with plain water and let dry. If you take good care of your stainless steel gas grill you can prolong its life for years and it will serve you better every summer.
