FISH&CHIPS FLAGSHIP

Salute, and welcome to Fish&Chips!

Today I wanted to introduce you to one of the aspects you’ll find on my blog, what to expect coming up, and a little bit about me. 

You will come to learn, over the course of your patronage, that there are two parts companies I REALLY dig. Those two companies are Corsair & Gigabyte. 

Corsair has a sleekness and sophistication about it that I find hard to describe. Just take a look at some of the parts they offer, and you will see what I mean.  Along with Aesthetics, they also carry a wonderful customer support team, and Ive yet to have an issue with any dealings with them myself. Corsair is THE one stop shop for Ram, Fans, and Coolers for me.

Gigabyte has offered some wonderful looking parts packed with value & power. I, myself am currently running the Gigabyte 1050 Ti 4gb OC ed. I have to say, it has been nothing but a pleasure so far. I’m able to render in Blender, do some solid gaming, and that is all before overclocking my budget OC Build.Right now I’m running Witcher 3 at 60fps on Ultra. This little biddy only cost me $149,99!  That is a CRAZY price for the power I’m pushing out of it. 

Seeing as these are my two favorite manufacturers at the moment, I only find suiting that 2 of my upcoming articles will feature theoretic builds around them using the Pcpartspicker utility. I’ll go into the why and why nots, the benchmarks these builds will push, and the pricing for each. 

Well thats all that pertains to the Chips portion of this blog, That leaves the Fish portion. 

Who am I and what do I do? My name is Devin, or simply BeastieBox. I am a chef, and can’t discuss where I work as per employer guidelines and customer confidentiality, however I can discuss what I do, and anything else under the red sun. I am a catering Chef who is contracted, with a group of other chefs & cooks, to prepare a variety of meals to high end clients, as well a prepare 3 regular meals each day, with over 300 patrons a meal. 

I love cooking, its an amazing experience, and something that I find a lot of pride in. My mother always said that there is no such thing as a hungry cook. 

My knife of choice is a Thunder Group Ping n.9 Chinese Iron Cleaver. An amazing price, and works for everything you can imagine. To introduce you to this portion of the blog, Ill start off by posting knife reviews and a few recipe reviews in the very near future. 

Besides that, I am 26, happily engaged, and living life to the fullest!
