Look I get that it's funny to make fun of Indians now, but the "Phool sapport sir" crowd is really just a small (though loud) portion of our population. They're Indian MAGA, and most sane Indians despise them. I don't want to police how people react to things, but please refrain from racism and classism. I think people who wanted the finale to be cathartic haven't been paying close attention to the show at all. this show has never had a catharthic finale. s1 built things up only for shane to accidentally kills armond and in s2 tanya falls into the water despite there being a clear way for her to survive. the point is that death should never be a spectacle. and this season finale was particularly good BECAUSE of the many reversals of expectations. we expect the morally upstanding characters like beinda and gaitok to remain the same and they switched up, we expect the three friends to be at each other's throats but they come to realize what really matters, we expect that the ratcliffs won't emerge from this vacation unscathed but they do. and naively like chelsea we expect that rick can overcome his trauma despite the red flags but he doesn't. life is messy and most things are out of our control. thats the point
