I try not to shop online a bunch because I just never know how things are going to fit!

- Shirt: From my mother! The brand is Jones New York

- Skirt: Previously a pair of (VERY) ill-fitting shorts from an aunt! The brand is Forever??? not forever 21, the label says “Forever” in fancy letters with flowers to either side

Omg I’ve been looking for another non-white sociology major!! The classes are always so interesting but I find the conversations on race are monopolized by white ppl bc they are the majority of the class :( how are your lectures? (Also ur so pretty!! I love ur looks and blog 💕)

Hi!!!! I go to a pwi with very few black people so I totally feel that :( but I’m happy because there’s a lot of other poc to sort of balance things out, it’s definitely not the same as having enough people of your race in the class but it helps a little bit. Other than that my lectures have been AMAZING!! So far I’ve taken Intro to Soc, Social Worlds of children, Writing in Sociology and i’m currently taking Global Inequalities and Social Justice! Aside from one class my professors have been Women of Color! (I had 2 by the same professor and one that was thought by a white woman) The topics are always super interesting and I actually really enjoy our readings! If you want we can swap readings! I’d be happy to send my pdfs! Thanks for the ask! {and for the compliments :) I like your blogs too! }
