HC: The only parts of Viktor's body that weren't affected by the hexcore greatly are his head and neck. These are the only parts of his body that retained skin and normal human sensitivity. On the rest of the body has turned into an alloy of organic matter and an unknown metal, which is devoid of sensitivity in the sense that is normal for humans. His body registers the fact of touch, but does not feel texture, temperature, etc. Now he perceives the world differently, for him touch is more like a resonance, impulse and vibration of the Arcane.

Even though he can't feel neither the tenderness nor warmth of Jayce's touch on his back, he feels Jayce's presence and this makes Viktor feel more human. This is important to Jayce too, since touch is his natural love language.

They learn to live and love each other together, given the new feature of Viktor's body.

What’s the worst accident you and Vik have had in the lab

I'd like to say we had many incidents in the lab... Worst accident may be when I almost accidentally dropped a hex gem, I thought I would explode half of the lab, don't worry I was able to catch it in time.

Oh or when I was making my hammer, small miscalculation and it broke.

           Jayce Talis stared down at him curiously, his nose only a handful of inches away from Viktor’s own. He seemed completely unbothered by his invasion of Viktor’s personal space, and his pretty eyes were darting all over Viktor’s face, no doubt taking in his dumbfounded expression. Viktor hadn’t been this close to another person in a long time, and he realized with dizzying clarity that Jayce Talis smelled like firewood and smoke. “Mr. Talis,” Viktor slammed the folder shut and shifted nervously, itching to back away. His voice came out a little weak. “You startled me.”

            “My apologies,” Talis said easily and God, his eyes were so hazel up close that they almost looked like liquid gold. No one had mentioned that Jayce Talis looked like this. Viktor had seen the posters, of course, but he thought they were embellishing his boyish good looks. It was almost criminal that he looked better in person. “I thought you realized I was here.”

            “I, uh…” Viktor glanced around, desperately searching for a flash of pink hair. His entire field of vision seemed to be swallowed up by golden skin and honey-toned eyes. “I assumed you were my friend returning from the restroom.”

            “Afraid not,” Talis smiled down at Viktor and he was dismayed to see that even the goddamn gap between his two front teeth was charming. Viktor was going to die.
