Pettin On Me was written, performed, recorded, mixed, and mastered by lead singer @jay.cathcart at his home studio during quarantine. Guitar tracks were recorded by @tim.cathcart . While this was a personal project so many people have helped with this without even knowing. Gotta throw love to @kevinedlin and @leviraymusic for always allowing to look over their shoulders and always willing to share their knowledge. @itsdaddyvance for taking my lady out for consent smokes so I could work on the track. @toricathcartphotography for always letting me try new material out on her and of course the greatest band mates in the world Josh Gentry, Tim Cathcart, and Daniel Raymond for always helping bring the funk right to your faces. Before the recording of Friction we spent 2 nights inside Portafella Studio recording scratch tracks to decide what made the EP. The entire recording was done live and by the end, 2 of the 4 songs were cut and Blame Game was changed drastically. This album is a compilation of the songs that were not released or changed. So we are releasing them to the public for free download to give you a little something new to groove to in these hard times. Enjoy!
