One more week

Hi all, it looks like I'm gonna have somewhere permanent to stay in just one week!! And I won't need to rely on donations anymore!

The expense there is that I need help moving - in particular, i need help to get the place liveable because currently it is just uninhabitable. I also really need a bed. There's already drawers and I can manage without everything else but with my chronic pain and back injury I really can't sleep on the floor

I looked it up and the cheapest I can find is $300 for a bed base and another $300 for a mattress including delivery. I don't own any pillows or blankets anymore either. Cleaning up the place I have no idea but I remember a skip bin costing $400.

I'm not expecting to raise all this but I'm trying to get $1,200 together for the bed and the clean up

Hi, my dr. ordered bloodwork for me in March that I finally need to complete in order to renew my prescription. I anticipate this being $115.

I picked up a second job but the work is inconsistent, I do not have a car, & I'm barely making anything at all. (Payment without fees taken out versus transportation costs)

With this, groceries, & meds, I anticipate needing about $700. I am very appreciative for all of the help I have received. Thank you ❤️

The situation in gaza :

The humanitarian situation is becoming increasingly difficult amid a severe shortage of essential supplies.

Famine has become a clear phenomenon in the Gaza Strip, and the situation has become extremely catastrophic.

There is no food, no water, no medicine, and no fuel, which is negatively impacting the lives of Palestinians.

We may witness more deaths in the coming days due to the shortage of basic necessities.

Thank you all for everyone supporting me ! When I first set up the fundraiser I randomly picked $15,000 hoping the war would end before we even raised half of it...Unfortunately the war is still ongoing and the funds are still desperately needed as less and less aid enters Gaza, increasing the prices of the little that is available. Another consideration is when I transfer the money in bank account, the bank takes a 30% cut of the money. So please, continue to donate, you are quite literally the reason why my family hasn't starved to death yet.

i have been having the time of my life the past week!!! started dating someone i just ran into at the little smoker’s corner across from campus and we’re head over heels for each other and it is so fucking fun. and she’s 42 so i thought nothing would happen and if it did everyone would find it weird but everyone seems happy for us and her friends like me :-)

I did not meet my goal last month by $130 & am suffering badly for it. Despite the notes my last post accrued, the progress was extremely slow & it wasn't until around the last few days that things became less dire for me.

This month, I already had to move an appointment preemptively that is $180. I anticipate needing about $775 in financial assistance this month to bridge the gap between my last goal that was not met with now, my appointment, groceries, and meds. I would have made this post earlier but I'd been scrambling to figure out what to do while knowing it's not likely I achieve my goal this month either. Regardless, I've been seriously struggling lately & while I am very appreciative for all of the help I have received, I very badly need it now. Thank you ❤️

My friend, before my heart breaks from our suffering, I write to you as if my words are the last thing we have left. The enemy bombed a house near us, and there, amidst the rubble of our homes, we witnessed unforgettable scenes: innocent children losing their lives, innocent children covered in blood, and adults dying while dreaming of a better day.

In every corner of Gaza, and on every street corner, tears of pain and grief echo alongside the relentless sound of the relentless bombing. We have lived through dark days filled with fear and destruction, and now we search among the rubble for a glimmer of hope to protect us from this nightmare.

I appeal to you, my dear friends, to extend a helping hand to us in these critical moments. We need to raise money to save ourselves and escape the Gaza war to live in peace outside it. Not only that, but our father, who now needs a cancerous tumor removal operation, is waiting for a chance to escape this hell in search of the treatment that could save his life.
