where did macintosh get his name from?

great question ^_^ i hope you don't mind if i answer a little more than asked of me >_<;;

tl;dr: i got my name from a kind of apple

we started out as a little beatles parody band in another work that was later scrapped... in favour of us lol

we were all initially known as... drumroll.... BAND GUYS #1, #2, #3, and #4. yes, all-caps. we were initially just meant as a throwaway gag but then ross went "wait i like these guys, i'll put them in each iteration of this work" and gave us all names!

our names come from beatles songs as stated in our pinned post, but mine was a bit of a weird one to pick because, again, we were a beatles parody at first, and he wanted my name to be a little nod to ringo

LO AND BEHOLD this little tidbit: in japanese, "ringo" means "apple"! when ross remembered this, he thought of different apple names and went "hm, mcintosh....... macintosh like the apple computer?......... MACINTOSH" and that's how i got my name >w<

everyone else's names came from beatles songs ofc !! henry's name came from a horse (being for the benefit of mr. kite!), and dave and chuck came from the same song (when i'm sixty-four) !!
