It is never easy, coming to terms with the loss of a friend. Many memories to look back on. Many what if's and could haves. The peace and quiet does help.

“Yeah...you’re right.” a heavy sigh escapes her frame, “Naxos was the best damn friend I could ask for and in the end I turned him away right before the dumb idiot gone and got himself killed.”

“Though I think he’s more disappointed if I didn’t turn myself around even after he’s gone.” Daeva chuckles a bit. “Sides someones gotta be in the right mindset to keep an eye out for his kids...speaking of hope his sons doing alright, last I saw he was heading after the person who killed old Naxy off and stole his sister from some rumours I heard...can’t say I’m not worried but boys old enough to stand on his own two feet. Don’t need no hand holding.”

“Except I saw Xanos go off with him and oh boy, drakoni has a heart of gold but is a massive pain in the ass with how he acts and goes about things.”

“Clearly someone doesn’t understand how useful surprise attacks are to taken down even the strongest of foe’s. If you get caught off guard by an attack you did not know was coming, its hard to adjust or combat it.”

“Doesn’t matter if your race is stronger, faster etc.The right battle tactics were used against us in the right moment, which means the enemy was more experienced, and a nugget of advice? experience outranks everything.”

Entry Name: Xanos, A ‘Chill’ Guy

“Where to begin with this log, well. Xanos is a tall bloke, around 7ft and taller, clear draconian lineage. Has the ability to control Ice magic. Have a first hand experience with that when we were not on speaking terms, or well. He was more of a blind lapdog and was trying to hunt me down, had a relative in that fight as well though I managed to handle them both quite well if I do say so myself.”“Getting off track though, Xanos seems to be a man of action, getting to know his opponent, their weaknesses, etc. A man who knows how to use subterfuge to the fullest; plays mind games with people though those haven’t worked on me for so many years. He’s seemed to have come around though.....got me back my twin blades....and also seems to be trying to help me ease into life down here, I don’t want to fight people, let alone him. He’s one of the guard, hell I’M still one of the guard on the inside....the guards like family. I just hope we don’t end up coming to blows at some point.”

“Xanos is a quick opponent, and is tall. Knows how to use both of these effectively against opponents let alone me, if we were to have to fight again...possibly to the death.....I’d have to counter most of his quick strikes with powerful attacks to key body parts, ankles, knees the works to slow him down before either making him see reason again or putting him down, if that fails I’d have to use the....more sacred of shadow magic techniques, deceit, the shadows themselves to push my own mind games, keep him guessing until I can strike true....if all else fails however.........god rest his soul if he pushes me to use........THAT form.......”

Entry Name: Annoying Human

“Oh boy............where does one even begin with this guy, so. Walking though snowdin when I come across a hooded figure, start talking to them but they keep their face hidden, naturally my old guard skills kick in and I press them for why they have their face hidden, guy gives me answers but I could tell things were off, then he finally cracked and shows he’s a human........one of those things that......well. Put me into the situation I am in now, made me do things that......I regret. I tried to kill him I won’t lie, at the time my hate clouded my judgement but he got away at least.”“Second encounter with the human, calls himself Tyree...well didn’t go so well for him since I still harboured hate towards him just cause he is what he is, beat him within an inch of his life but told him to try and learn from his mistakes and what not....now and then he comes around and gives me things, got a gem from him and he also tries his hand at cooking.....not going to lie, needs a little bit of work. Anyway, in the end, I’m going to keep tabs on him, if he starts........well......doing what those scumbags did to me and other monsters.....I’ll have no choice but to put him down.”

Entry Name: Revak“One of the first few people I met after I busted out with my more than grandiose little gig. Pretty sure the kid was coming after me as some sort of wannabe vigilante to be honest. Though I was in no mood to fight him, but he seemed to have understood my side of the story once I told him. So despite his exterior motives he’s not blind like a lot of the guard would be...are in fact.”

“Haven’t spoken to him recently, but he wanted to spar at some point if I recall, probably should take him up on the offer do no harm to teach the boy a thing or two, he has guts, and heart. But seems to like to rush into things, might get himself in over his head, which scares me, I don’t know him much but I don’t want him to get himself killed because he’s being to knuckle headed in the heat of the moment.”

Bado cracked his neck and stared, unamused, at the strange dragon hybrid thing.

“Well let me make it clear. I didn’t need your help. I would have trashed that freak on my own, but I get it. You wanted to show off. But do me a favour and stay out of my way.”

He stopped ranting to look Daeva up and down, taking in her more draconic form.

“…You put on weight?”

“Makes two of us when they try to imitate a race that is better than them...which I feel like if there’s more, thats what they’re doing.”

Daeva sighed extending a hand out to look at her claws before extending her wings out a little, luckily in this form she could use them but....it takes a lotta energy to keep this up.

“Yeah yeah yeah, heard it you could’ve done it on your own.” The dragoness was rather unamused by Bado still having his bravado out like this but, suppose it meant in this situation he was doing fine.

Then he mentioned her form....great it finally clicked he knew it was the same shadow dragoness from before. 

“Yes and No. Kinda a unique thing to me, least I think it is never saw another shadow dragon transform like I do. Point is this isn’t natural for a dragon to have wings that also count like arms.” She spoke somewhat softly as one of her wing arms picked up and crushed whatever was near her at the moment to demonstrate this.
